v1.06 of the Excel Betting Tracker with Bet Type Performance

In response to a visitor request, below is a modified version of release v1.06 of the Excel betting tracker spreadsheet. This version calculates performance by bet type (head to head, line bet, etc). This tracking is in addition to the performance tracking by bookmaker and sport/event.

This sheet requires that you input bet types into the ‘Settings’ sheet. These values are then fed into the ‘Bets’ and ‘Performance Summary’ sheets.

This version of the sheet is just a rough attempt at providing this type of functionality. The instructions in the ‘Intro’ sheet have not been updated to support the new extension.

Let me know if you think all future versions of the sheet should have this feature. My only concern is that it will put off beginners who will find the spreadsheet too difficult to use.

  1. Hi,
first of all I love these excel sheets. I was looking for a way to keep track of my bets for a long time, and this is the most complete way of doing so that I could find for free. I like the new addition in 1.06 but I ran into a problem with the payouts not calculating after I’ve already done 100+ lines of bets. I’m not familiar with excel so I don’t know how to force it to calculate, so I’m left with a bunch of dashes. Any way you can help me out?

  2. Hi Matt,

Drop me a line using the contact form and I will give you my email address. If you email me a copy of your Excel sheet I will see what the source of the problem is.

    1. Hi Anthony,
I would uncheck the ‘Check compatibility when saving this workbook.’ The sheet was written to be compatible with Excel 97-2003. You may have changed something in the settings or deposit sheet which isn’t supported in earlier versions, but this isn’t an issue if you are only going to be using the sheet in Excel 2007 or later. Let me know if you have further questions.
