Ladbrokes Race Comments:

Race 4:
Sebring Dream was the best of the closers in a bit of an on pace dominated Thousand Guineas last week. This is much easier so she gets her chance. Savvan looks an improving staying type. She’ll go forward and run it out strong. Eleonora was luckless last start. She’ll take a huge step here and Moqueen should have no trouble with the longer trip. Respect any betting moves on some fillies getting out over a trip for the first time.

Race 5:
Hard to find a negative with Seaburge. He wins the Guineas in a few more strides last week and the stable have always had the Derby in mind. With a perfect run he’s tough to beat. Good Standing was brave in the Guineas. With a much softer run he’ll be there a long way. Wine Bush and Rocketeer cleared out in an easier race last start but do looks to have each-way claims. Odeon is an improver as he’ll race much closer here.

Race 6:
It’s Somewhat is in career best form and still has some upside this prep. Has the big weight but straight into the box seat he’s clearly the one to beat. Maurus looks ready to bring his best after improving last start. He’ll go back and charge home. Vanbrugh is ready for the longer trip off a nice run in the Epsom. De Little Engine is the other big closer from the back.

Race 7:
No reason why Tycoon Tara can’t continue on her winning way. She races well here and lands straight into the box seat. She’ll be hard to get past. First Seal badly needed her fresh run. She’s a big improver and gets in well here. Pearls brings similar form lines, she’s got each-way claims from the good gate and watch for Shillelagh storming home.

Race 8:
Extremely hard to go against Jameka with the perfect preparation she’s had for the race. She thrashed everything else behind Hartnell last start and she’s got the tactical speed to overcome the tricky gate. She’s clearly the best of the locals. Never easy with the imports when they haven’t had a run on our shore but they do look the main dangers. Exospheric and Sir Isaac Newton weren’t far away from the best in Europe in the Juddmonte. They’ll both run this out strong back to this level. Scottish and Articus are better over slightly shorter trips in Europe but they possess speed and they will run the trip out strong enough around Caulfield. Sir John Hawkwood has some claims with the perfect run just off the pace.

Race 9:
Have to believe what you saw with Hellbent last start where he flew past a mare in peak form. Drawn to get to the outside, he’ll be tough to hold out. Wild Rain is racing in peak form. She’ll be just off pace and she’ll run it strong. Lankan Rupee deserves the weight. Anywhere near his best is still good enough and Our Boy Malachi always goes in everything.
