Ladbrokes Race Comments:

Race 5:
Taking a punt on HARLOW GOLD off the back of an impressive jump out win. If she can get cover and stay in touch, she’ll be hard to hold out. LEGLESS VEUVE was impressive fresh. Fitter for that run she will take some catching. NURSE KITCHEN is a highly promising filly, she’ll launch late off a very quiet jump out. Watch the betting on CEYLON with no public jump outs to go on.

Race 6:
HEY DOC looks perfectly placed here having the one good run under his belt. He draws for the run of the race and this trip is perfect. He’ll take some beating. LAND OF PLENTY could be a knockout off a nice fresh run. He’s always shown ability. MORTON’S FORK was unsuited fresh. From the good gate, she’s a big improver. SEABURGE is top class. He’ll steam home along with KACHING, Throssell and INSIDE AGENT.

Race 7:
CROCODILE ROCK could’ve won by a margin last start if asked for anything through the line. He’s headed to better races and should be winning. HURSLEY is ready now. If he has even luck slotting in from the middle gate he’s the main danger. POST D’FRANCE is racing in peak form. He draws tricky again but should be charging home. DODGING BULLETS goes in exotics with the box seat run.

Race 8:
Outstanding renewal of the Lightning with not much between a few of them. FLYING ARTIE proved himself the best off a hot crop of three year olds last season. He’ll get back off pace and be charging over the top of them. STAR TURN trialled perfect for this. He’ll be on pace and be tough to get past. SPIETH could be anything. He loves this track so can get over the top of them. SUPIDO, HEATHERLY and TERRAVISTA all have some claims.

Palmerbet – The Early Crow:

Race 2: CHARLIE BOY
Race 5: LEGLESS VEUVE

Sportsbet – Gary Legg:

Race 5 – Silver Slipper
Best:
She Will Reign
Khan
Value:
Lucky Louie

Ladbrokes Race Comments:

Race 5:
SHE WILL REIGN explosive in her two wins to date. Nine weeks since winning the Inglis Nursery and has won a trial in explosive fashion in the interim. Clearly the one to beat on what we have seen to date. KHAN the Breeder’s Plate winner on debut only run to date. Resumes on the back of a Gosford trial win. Right up with best two-year-olds seen this season. LUCKY LOUIE resumes and has trialled. Placed in the Gimcrack on debut and charged home late when runner-up at Flemington only other run. Right up to a race like this. VERANILLO Rosehill winner only run in his first preparation and returned a winner with a victory in the Lonhro Plate at Randwick. Well in under the set-weight conditions and a winning chance again.

Race 6:
COMIN’ THROUGH impressive return in an unsuitable trip in the Eskimo Prince. The Carbine Club winner at Flemington in three runs in his first preparation and right in this stepping up in distance. MAN FROM UNCLE overcame a wide run in transit to win the Eskimo Prince impressively resuming. Still plenty of scope for improvement and a winning chance again. ECHO EFFECT won three from four in his first preparation and placed both runs this time in without much luck. Can take a sit from the gate which will suit. Right up to this. VELADERO covered ground in the run when fourth at Randwick resuming. The Gloaming winner last preparation and a likely improver here second-up.

Race 7:
DAYSEE DOOM resumes on the back of an impressive trial win at Randwick. Has won five from seven and unbeaten in two Rosehill runs. Looks ready to go first-up. PRIVATE SECRETARY charged home late for a deserved win in the fillies and mares race on Magic Millions Day. Needs things to go her way in races but is explosive if things go her way and right up to winning this. TSARITSA finished her race off nicely in the Breeder’s Classic. Rosehill winner second-up last preparation and right in the mix here. ARTISTRY resumes on the back of a Rosehill trial placing. Runner-up in the Nivison resuming last campaign after covering plenty of ground in the run. The awkward gate the concern here again.

Race 8:
ALLERGIC well beaten at Randwick resuming but invariably improves second-up and won the Premier’s Cup here second run last time in. Right in this. RED EXCITEMENT freshened up since winning successive races at Randwick and Gosford but has been kept up to the mark with a trial. The 61kg a query but hard to knock the winning form. RELIGIFY in winning form with victories in successive mile races at Randwick controlling the speed out in front. Who is to say he won’t do it again stepping up to 1900m for the first time. DARK EYES has won two of last three and chasing back to back wins after a Canterbury victory this trip last start. Up in grade but the 5kg weight drop keeps him right in play.

Palmerbet – The Early Crow:

Race 5: SHE WILL REIGN
Race 7: ARTISTRY
Race 8: RED EXCITEMENT
