Match Comments

Stoke vs West Ham

Not the best match to start with in terms of value indicators. The only standout here is the draw which has appeared in 11 of the 27 similar games featuring these two teams. That’s a 41% (2.43) chance vs the 29% (3.44) on offer with the betting markets.

West Brom vs Leicester

There is not a lot to play for here for these two teams and no real indications either way.

Sunderland vs Bournemouth

Not a single win for these two teams in their form records. There is some small value for Sunderland but it is not convincing. They need to win this to have any chance of survival.

Southampton vs Hull

Lots of value for Southampton here despite them only paying 1.67. Hull have an abysmal away record and this should be fairly straightforward.

Crystal Palace vs Burnley

The stats show there is some value for Burnley here. This would be their first away win of the season and would be very useful given they have been brought into the relegation battle.

Man United vs Swansea

Swansea have lost their last 6 away but still show small value here. The draw also looks interesting given 10 of Man Utd’s last 19 home games have ended in the stalemate.

Everton vs Chelsea

Everton have an excellent home record, on a rolling season, it is the 3rd best. They have also won their last 6 at home. The draw and Everton look value according to the stats so opposing Chelsea in some way looks the way to go from a value perspective.

Middlesbrough vs Man City

Middlesbrough are the value bet here given they are over 10 at home. We’re not sure any team should be this high especially against a Man City team that have failed to win almost half their away games on a rolling season basis.

Tottenham vs Arsenal

The betting markets look to have this game about right. There is some small value on backing against Arsenal given the away team have only won 5% of the 37 similar games featuring these two teams.

Watford vs Liverpool

Watford look great value here at over 6. Liverpool can’t be trusted away from home at such low odds, they have only won 8 of their last 19 away games.
