Ladbrokes Race Comments:

Race 5:
FELINES has plenty of weight but is suited by this class and distance, she will be running on. PROMPT RETURN can give a sight from the good gate if the track is firm. SIR STATHAM had a torrid run here last start and finished off well, he should be improved and can be in the finish. HIGHLY GEARED fought on well here last start, this distance suits and he can be prominent throughout.

Race 6:
THE VIRGINIAN resumed with a powerful win over over 1050m, he may prefer a bigger track but the extra distance suits and he should be closing late. DOTHRAKI hasn’t won since October, 2015 but rarely runs poorly, with blinkers back on and a good recent trial he should be in the finish again. ATTENTION was caught wide in the Gold Coast Guineas and has trialled well since, he was racing well without winning in strong group company last preparation and should be prominent from the good gate. DEPLOY resumed well after working his way through the classes last preparation, he is awkwardly drawn but shows promise and can be handy throughout.

Race 7:
EGG TART is unbeaten this preparation and won the SA Oaks last start, she will be hard to hold off. KENEDNA was narrowly beaten by EGG TART in the SA Oaks and won her first Queensland start here, she should be in the finish. OKLAHOMA GIRL has been racing well this preparation and just missed to KENEDNA last start, she should be closing late. BLANCO CARA ran on well in the Gold Coast Bracelet and followed up with a facile win when odds-on at Newcastle, she could be strongest late.

Race 8:
BONNY O’REILLY is promising and has won both outings this preparation, she is up in class but should get a good run from the nice gate. PALAZZO PUBBLICO has been improved by recent racing and is suited by this track and distance, she won a similar race here last year and could be hard to hold off again. DANISH TWIST has been freshened after running in much harder races than this, she is poorly drawn but won her only start here and could be hard to hold off. BIDII BABE rarely runs poorly and won a similar race last start here, she will be running on late.

Ladbrokes Race Comments:

Race 6:
HAVE ANOTHER GLASS has been flying in much stronger races. In ok with the claim and straight into the box seat, she’ll take some beating. FOUR SISTERS is a mare on the rise. If she can get into the three-wide line she’ll charge home. EVERY FAITH is a good weight carrier and comes off a good fresh run. On her best track, she’ll run well. HOT RUBY has claims as do a few drawn off the track if they have any luck.

Race 7:
HEZA RIPPER has been charging home from a mile back after drawing bad gates. If Williams has any luck slotting him in a bit closer he’ll be tough to beat. CAMDUS comes off a big run. Right at his top for this, he’ll be steaming home. CHASE THE HORIZON always runs well on dry tracks, he just needs some luck from the gate. PAINTE is a betting watch coming down looking for a dryer track.

Race 8:
LONGERON has been building with every run this prep and now gets out to his best trip. Straight into the box seat, he gets his chance. OVERBERG continues to race in peak form. A perfect run gives him each-way claims again. HURSLEY will run his usual honest race and GALLIC CHIEFTAIN will be strong late as he rises in trip.

Race 9:
KEN’S DREAM looks well placed back onto his best track. If the young apprentice can get him into the clear on the turn he’ll take some beating. KATSURO is due his share of luck in a race. From the good gate, he’s a solid each-way hope. BENZ only needs some luck rolling forward to be there a long way. RUN GYPSY RUN, LIBERTY SONG, BLUE TYCOON and SHERIFF JOHN STONE all go in exotics.

Morphettville

William Hill – The Wolf:

Race 1: 4. Red Raider – BEST BET – 3.5 stars

Ladbrokes Race Comments:

Race 5:
BELUGA BLUE has all the options off the inside draw, can lead or take a sit. OUR EXCHANGE gets in light with the claim and will be up on the speed. SNAKE CHARMER will have supporters but will need double figures to back her. For fourth, WOAKWINE but it does look a race in three.

Race 6:
Small field but it looks an open affair. CORE BREACH has a stack of speed, will be carving across early and may just run them off their feet. KARLOVASI has been good this time in racing in black type company. Should appreciate this grade with the claim. CHAPEL ROAD will find this harder, but the way he didn’t shirk the task after sitting wide last time shows his toughness. TARCO is a winning chance also.
– note: CORE BREACH has been scratched

Race 7:
PEPPER THE PIN should be double figure odds and will be trying to lead all the way. See how the track is playing by this stage of the day. SEPTAMORE maps just in behind the leaders and can explode with one run late. HAZY LANE has the good draw, can try and lead or take a sit. The latter may be the better approach here with all the speed. ENTRANCING will go forward and find this class more suitable.

Race 8:
Huge field for the last, you wouldn’t want to be taking less than six or seven dollars about any of these. GALAXY GAZER was good in this class last time, gets the claim and should be running on hard. TYCOON SOFIE comes out of that same race, may have to work to get across in a leading role early. SUPERCHIC will find this tougher but has a good turn of foot. Look for her late. For fourth, CORRECT CALL.

Rosehill

William Hill – The Wolf:

Race 2: 1. New Universe – BEST BET – 4 stars
Race 8: 6. Snoopy – BEST BET – 4 stars

Quaddie: 3,6,11 / 4,9,10 / 4,6 / 3,18,19

Mad Bookie – Dan Melicki:

BEST BET: Race 1 #7 KANGAS EYE
BEST EACH-WAY: Race 5 #7 JUST DREAMING
BEST VALUE: Race 9 #12 TIMELESS PRINCE

Race 1 11:25am 1200m (2yo handicap)
7. KANGAS EYE from 1, 11, 8

Race 2 12:00pm 1200m (BM78)
7. ARBEITSAM from 1, 4, 8

Race 3 12:35pm 1500m (BM78)
3. WAHNG WAH from 1, 5, 8

6. SNOOPY from 9, 4, 5

Race 9 4:25pm 1500m (BM85)
4. LIAPARI from 12, 14, 16

Ladbrokes Race Comments:

Race 6:
Open race. ZIGGY WILLIE had no luck in the Wagga Town Plate last start when looked to have plenty to offer. Has since trialled well. This suits. REINCARNATE wasn’t far away without the best luck here when resuming. Strips fitter and gets in well after the claim. GIRL SUNDAY is going much better than her form reads. She has had excuses in her past two starts. Just needs luck from the draw. FIRST HAND is rarely far away. He peaks here after two runs back from a spell and looks ready for the 1200m.

Race 7:
Hard to go past SO WILLIE. He has won three from four this preparation. He backs up for his third straight week but is hard to hold out with only the 53kg. SUPPLY AND DEMAND was runner up behind SO WILLIE last Saturday. Gets his chance to turn the tables on him. MONTAUK is racing well without winning. He has had excuses in his past couple. Gets his chance from the rails draw. GOD’S IN HIM was runner up in the Scone Cup last start. On trial at the trip but gives the indication that it will suit.

Race 8:
ood race. SNOOPY tested Clearly Innocent at Scone when resuming. Strips fitter, maps well and this looks easier. The one to beat. SIR BACCHUS finished just behind SNOOPY at Scone after a slow start. Drawn well and out to the 1400m suits, ready to win. INVINZABEEL was dominant winning here last start. Can go on with the job now. SHIRAZ resumes here after winning a recent trial. He is a four time winner fresh and is up to this.

Race 9:
The two emergencies SUPPLY AND DEMAND who backs up after placing at Randwick last Saturday and DAGNY who has won two from three this time in but will need luck from the draw. DREAMFORCE has been racing well with big weights. Gets his chance here with no weight. LOUIE SEA KAY was runner up at Hawkesbury last start. Drops in weight and gets the right sort of run.

Palmerbet – The Early Crow:

Race 2: FARAWAY TOWN
Race 3: WAHNG WAH
Race 4: ZAMEX
Race 5: PICARDY ROSE
Race 6: FIRSTHAND

Race 9: LIAPARI
