Ladbrokes Race Comments:

Race 7:
Wide gates have made in a wide-open race. WAYANKA has been racing in peak form all prep and he draws to be able to hold up until well into the straight. He’ll be charging at them late. REBELLIOUS LORD is a promising type coming off a luckless run. If he can slot in from the middle gate he’ll go close. ANDREA MANTEGNA looks an imported stayer headed in the right direction. He may need further but should still be hard to hold out. JAMINZAH gets a perfect run and Dollar For Dollar is good enough but needs luck from the horror gate.

Race 8:
AMOVATIO was luckless last start and possibly should’ve won last start with the winner going well over the whip limit. If he can hold his spot midfield or just worse from the good gate he should be hard to hold out. SHOW A STAR goes in everything. He should fall straight into a perfect run just off pace and he’ll run the mile strong. COSMIC LIGHTS is another that gest a perfect run and comes here in peak form and MOONOVERMANHATTAN looks ready to bring his best off two good runs for the Weir stable.

Race 9:
RICH LUCK is a promising type coming off a strong first-up win where he was clearly looking for this sort of trip. Straight into a perfect run midfield or better, he’ll be tough to beat. PORTMAN was dominant 2nd-up and he’ll only keep improving. Also drawn for a perfect run, he’ll kick at the top of the straight and he’ll run it out strong. REVOLVING DOOR is flying. If he gets a rest at any stage after heading forward he’s the one to run down. Many more have claims with a big betting watch SIN TO WIN at his first start for the new stable.

Race 10:
With a touch of luck early rolling forward and looking to slot in SPANISH REEF should be super tough to beat. Right at her peak and no issue up in trip, she’ll run it out strong. EUREKA STREET will only improve off his first go at the longer trip. Drawn to be a touch closer, he’ll be hard to hold out. SEATTLE PARK comes off a huge run. He will give away a start but can be screaming home. TAN TAT TRUSTING, SHADOW PRINCE and ALL OUT OF LOVE amongst others have claims in a deep race.

Race 2: 5. La Chica Bella
Race 3: 8. Imperator Augustus – BEST BET 4 stars
Race 4: 3. Super Star Bob
Race 5: 3. Sayed
Race 6: 2. Invincible Knight
Race 7. 1. Le Romain – BEST BET – 4.5 stars
Race 8. 3. Tango Rain

Quaddie: 2, 5, 8 / 1, 7 / 3, 7, 10, 13 / 4, 10, 13

Palmerbet – The Early Crow:

Race 1: REGIMEN
Race 2: MISS DUBOIS
Race 3: FRANCESCO
Race 4: CARE TO THINK
Race 5: GET ON THE GRANGE
Race 6: STEYNE
Race 7: LE ROMAIN
Race 8: LAUNCH CODE
Race 9: SPENDING TO WIN

Ladbrokes Race Comments:

Race 6:
STEYNE has won four from seven and things didn’t go his way at Randwick last start. Set to bounce back. ADMIRAL JELLO only saw clear running late resuming here last start and worked home strongly. Fitter second-up and just needs even luck in running to be right in the finish. INVINCIBLE KNIGHT racing well. Rosehill winner three runs back and beaten and run down by a promising galloper here last start. Right in this back up to 1600m. SO WILLIE runner-up this trip at Warwick Farm two runs back before only battling when stepped up in distance last start. Right in the mix back to the mile.

Race 7:
LE ROMAIN resumes and looks ready to go on recent Newcastle trial win. This race sets up perfectly for the three-time Group I winner settling just off a solid tempo. Looks set for a successful return. INVINCIBLE GEM showed plenty of promise winning four races last preparation and runner-up in the Randwick Guineas. Looked ready to go in her recent Newcastle trial win. THAT’S A GOOD IDEA wasn’t far from the winner in the July Sprint at Randwick resuming. Fitter second-up and worth including in the wider exotics. JUNGLE EDGE resumes from a let-up. The BRC Sprint winner before the break. Likely to get the soft conditions he needs and goes in all the exotics.

Race 8:
TANGO RAIN resumes on the back of a Rosehill trial win. Won successive races at Canterbury in his first preparation and runner-up in the San Domenico. Looks ready to go fresh here. CLIPPER hasn’t missed a place in eight starts and four times a winner including a Highway Handicap this track and distance. Still down in the weights and nothing to suggest she won’t be in the finish again. SALERNO chasing three on the trot this track and distance. Anticipated solid tempo in his favour and a winning chance again. SANGIOVESE Canterbury winner earlier in the preparation and placed here last start. Back to 1000m a query but still a place hope from a good gate.

Race 9:
SPENDING TO WIN narrowly beaten both runs this time in finishing runner-up at Warwick Farm and Randwick. Gets his chance to go one better peaking third-up launching from the inside gate. BOLERO KING Gosford winner resuming from a long break three runs back and close-up in two subsequent runs at Canterbury and Randwick. Drawn to advantage and right in the mix again. ARGENT D’OR chased hard along the fence to get the bob in this track and distance last start. Still down in the weights and nothing to suggest he isn’t a winning chance again. STAR CROSSED won successive races at Wyong and Canterbury before having no luck here last start. Gets some weight relief and can bounce back.

Sandown (Sunday)

Race 8:
Confidence: low
BACK (E/W) Murt The Flirt
