Leicester City vs. Crystal Palace

Back Leicester City in the head-to-head at 1.99 (Pinnacle)

Both sides are enjoying a resurgence at the moment, with both teams unbeaten in their last 5, but I have to side with Leicester City at home. Leicester bring a 4-game winning streak into this fixture and boast a 8-2-1 record as the home favourite over the last 12 months. Crystal Palace, meanwhile, have gone 4-3-12 away from home and have yet to score an away goal this season. While Palace did draw their two previous away fixtures 0-0, they were against West Brom and Brighton, who are both in weaker form than Leicester City.

Brighton vs. Burnley

Back Burnley +0.5 at 1.54 (Pinnacle)

If it had been Liverpool visiting Brighton you could be sure they wouldn’t be the 3.21 outsiders that Burnley are. I mention this because Burnley are currently on equal points with Liverpool and sit 6th on the table, one point above Arsenal. Burnley have gone 3-0-0 away from home this season against sides in the bottom half of the table. Brighton started the season well but have dropped in form of late. They are winless in their last 6 games and have only scored 1 goal in their last 5.

Watford vs. Huddersfield

Back Watford in the head-to-head at 1.80 (SBOBET)
Back Watford +0.5 (+1 in a 3-way handicap) at 1.22 (Betfair)

Huddersfield haven’t scored an away goal since Round 1 and have gone 1-1-6 away from home since promotion to the Premier League. Watford have gone 5-4-1 as the home favourite over the last 12 months. While Watford are winless in their last 4, three of those fixture were against top six sides and they were unlucky to lose away at Crystal Palace after dominating the match up until an 87th minute red card.

Arsenal vs. Newcastle

Back Arsenal in the head-to-head at 1.29 (Betfair)

This is more a bet against Newcastle than it is a bet on Arsenal. Newcastle are in free fall at the moment, having gone 0-1-7 in their last 8 fixtures. Newcastle also have a 9-game losing streak against Arsenal in the EPL. Arsenal boast a 16-0-2 record as the home favourite over the last 12 months. While the odds are short, the high-frequency of fixtures at the moment favours the stronger sides who enjoy greater squad depth.

Chelsea vs. Southampton

Back Chelsea in the head-to-head at 1.38 (SBOBET)

Chelsea have gone 15-1-2 as the home favourite over the last 12 months while Southampton have gone 0-1-5 as the away underdog.

Back over 2.5 goals at 1.746 (Pinnacle)

The over/under 2.5 goals has gone 13/6 in Chelsea’s home games over the last 12 months and 11/7 for Southampton’s away fixtures. Four of the last 5 meetings between the two at Stamford Bridge have gone over 2.5 goals, with their last two meetings seeing 4 goals scored in 2015/16 and 6 goals scored in 2016/17.

West Brom vs. Manchester United

Back Manchester United in the head-to-head at 1.609 (Pinnacle)

West Brom have gone 1-0-5 as the home underdog over the last 12 months while Man Utd have gone 8-2-1 as the away favourite. After starting the season with 2 wins, West Brom are now winless in their last 15 EPL fixtures. West Brom have failed to score in their last 3 fixtures while Man Utd have found the back of the net in each of their last 6 games.

Everton vs. Swansea

Back Everton in the head-to-head at 1.75 (William Hill)

Everton boast a 13-0-1 record as the home favourite over the last 12 months while Swansea have gone 3-3-11 as the away underdog. Everton are on a 3-game winning streak at home while Swansea have lost their last 5 on the road.
