Competition details and scoring

The aim of the tipping competition is to accumulate the highest hypothetical payout from each-way bets placed on each of the nominated races:

7 April 2018
– TJ Smith Stakes
– Doncaster Mile
– Australian Derby
– Inglis Sires
– Country Championships Final

14 April 2018
– Queen Elizabeth Stakes
– Sydney Cup
– Australian Oaks
– Coolmore Legacy Stakes
– Provincial Championships Final

You select one primary horse from each of the designated races along with second selection to be used in the event that the first selection is scratched. If no selections are made you receive the default runner which is the race favourite.

After each race, Palmerbet will compute the combined pay-out for your virtual race bet, which will be added to your score. The best tote Win/Place product is used for calculations.

At the conclusion of the competition, the total pay-out for each player for all races will be aggregated. The player who accrues the most virtual dollars over the course of the entire competition will be deemed the competition winner.
