Brighton vs. Wolverhampton

Back Under 2.5 goals at 1.61 (bet365, Palmerbet, Unibet)

Wolverhampton’s stingy defence should keep this tight. Eight of their nine games this season have gone under 2.5 goals, including all four away games. Brighton have kept things tight themselves, winning their two most recent fixtures over West Ham and Newcastle by 1-0 scorelines.

Watford vs. Huddersfield

Back Watford +0.5 (double chance) at 1.20 (Betfair)

Watford have been a streaky side this season. They jumped out of the gates with 4 wins but followed that up with one point from their next four fixtures. Following the international break last week they picked up an away win over Wolves, so I’m taking a punt that they will blow hot rather than cold this weekend. Huddersfield have a poor 2-6-11 away record over the last 12 months. They haven’t been blown away in recent weeks, which is why I’ve opted for Watford in the Asian handicap rather than the head-to-head.

Fulham vs. Bournemouth

Back Bournemouth in the head-to-head at 2.54 (Betfair)

Bournemouth have conceded just 1 goal in their last 4 games, while Fulham conceded 4 last week alone against Cardiff City. This is on the back of 5 goals that Fulham conceded against Arsenal and 3 conceded against Everton. Bournemouth have won 3 of their last 5 EPL away games and will fancy their chances against Fulham’s flimsy defence.

Back Bournemouth +0.5 (double chance) at 1.52 (Betfair)

Fulham have gone 0-2-7 as the underdog this season, while Bournemouth have gone 8-6-3 as the favourite over the last 12 months.

Liverpool vs. Cardiff City

Back Liverpool to win to nil at 1.72 (Neds)

Of Liverpool’s 13 home wins over the last 12 months, 10 were to nil. Cardiff City have been held scoreless in 3 of their 4 away fixtures this season.

Burnley vs. Chelsea

Back both teams to score at 2.20 (Neds)

Five of the last six meetings between the two saw both teams score.

Crystal Palace vs. Arsenal

Back Arsenal in the head-to-head at 1.85 (bet365)

Little is going right for Crystal Palace at the moment, with the side repeatedly coming unstuck by late goals. They’ve lost 6 of their last 8, including their last 3 fixtures. Palace have lost 4 of their 5 home fixtures against Arsenal since being promoted. They’ve gone 0-1-6 as the home underdog over the last 12 months and have failed to score a goal in any of their 4 home games this season. Arsenal, meanwhile, enter this clash on a seven-game EPL winning streak.

Back Crystal Palace / Arsenal in the HT/FT market at 21.00 (bet365)

Given Palace’s recent run of conceding late goals, coupled with the fact that Arsenal have only won 2 away games to nil over the last 12 months, the Palace/Arsenal HT/FT selection is worth a small punt. Arsenal came from behind to beat Leicester City last week.

Tottenham vs. Manchester City

Back Man City in the head-to-head at 1.80 (bet365, Neds, Palmerbet, Unibet)

Tottenham have gone 0-0-2 as the home underdog over the last 12 months and were beaten 2-1 by Liverpool at this venue in September. Manchester City enter this clash having kept 5 consecutive clean sheets in the EPL. They swatted aide Tottenham 4-1 at home and 3-1 away last season and Tottenham have made no improvements to the squad since then.
