Unibet – Race Comments and Selections:

Race 1:
RANIER (5) Was fighting out the finish when winning last start at Caulfield and gets the perfect gate. No shock to see a win. VASSILATOR (2) Good performance to run into 2nd last run at Caulfield and drops back to a suitable grade. Will be trying to topple them late. Among the major players. WILD PLANET (6) Really dug deep when winning two runs back at this venue but racing in stronger company today. Looks promising in this race. SACCHARO (11) Won narrowly three runs back at Sale and has a nice turn of foot. Been in the money 3 from 4 attempts this preparation. Strong chance.
Selections: 5 Ranier, 2 Vassilator, 6 Wild Planet, 11 Saccharo

Race 2:
VERRY ELLEEGANT (2) Fought on gamely when winning last time at Caulfield but racing in stronger company today. Could put a good margin on these. ARISTIA (4) Nearly got a win when 2nd last run at Caulfield but facing a stronger class here. Always seems to find the line well. Key hope. EL DORADO DREAMING (1) On a quick back up. Charged home into 3rd last run at Moonee Valley. Worth consideration. SIZZLEME (5) Was rock solid when winning three runs back at Bendigo and is drawn beautifully here. Trifectas chance.
Selections: 2 Verry Eellegant, 4 Aristia, 1 El Dorado Dreaming, 5 Sizzleme

Race 3:
OSBORNE BULLS (1) Brave effort to win three runs back at Caulfield and easy to come into at the distance with 5 wins from 7 attempts. Looks a worthwhile proposition today. RUNSON (10) On a quick backup. Was a comprehensive winner last time at Moonee Valley but up against stronger competition here. Include in chances. MISSROCK (4) Ran on strongly when 3rd last time at Caulfield and finishes off strongly. Each way. BONS AWAY (7) Made considerable ground when 3rd last time at Caulfield and easy to come into at the distance. Has a great burst of speed late. Stays under notice.
Selections: 1 Osborn Bulls, 10 Runson, 4 Missrock, 7 Bons Away

Race 4:
JAAMEH (10) Nice effort when winning two runs back at this track and has a good draw. Been in the money 3 from 5 attempts this campaign. One of the main dangers. A PRINCE OF ARRAN (2) Charged home into 3rd last time at Caulfield and second up from a spell. Might take a while to wind up but should be hitting top gear in the straight. Right in the thick of it here and is a major player. BRIMHAM ROCKS (6) Ran on strongly when 2nd last run at Caulfield. Winning hope. SIXTIES GROOVE (4) Having third run back from a break. Did enough to win last run at Moe but racing in stronger company here. Might be one for the placings.
Selections: 10 Jaameh, 2 A PRince of Arran, 6 Brimham Rocks, 4 Sixties Groove

Race 5:
ZOUSAIN (2) Looks ready to fire third up from a spell and form lines from previous two starts this prep ready very well. Hard to beat. WRITTEN BY (1) Superstar colt who will race up on the pace. Looks well suited here and can win again. SUNLIGHT (10) This is much more suitable than the field she faced last time out. Expect a bold showing. DIPLOMATICO (8) This is harder than previous but this colt looks a progressive type. Keep safe.
Selections: 2 Zousain, 1 Written By, 10 Sunlight, 8 Diplomatico

Race 6:
AMPHITRITE (15) Fought on well to win last time at Caulfield and has a great burst of speed late. Strong form this campaign winning 4 from as many starts. Will go well here. INVINCIBELLA (2) Looks value at a big price in a wide open contest. Will map nicely and should have every chance today. I AM A STAR (1) Was fighting out the finish when winning last run at Caulfield and should come to hand quickly. Can measure up to this company. SHILLELAGH (3) Ran past a few when 4th last time at Caulfield and will be hitting the line strongly. Knockout chance in this.
Selections: 15 Amphitrite, 2 Invincibella, 1 I Am A Star, 3 Shillelagh

Race 7:
THINKIN’ BIG (1) Never gave the rest of the field a chance at Caulfield when winning by 3L. Should roll forward and likely to be too strong. ARAMAYO (2) Racing well in recent runs and will be swooping on the leaders late. Each way claims. SAVOIE (7) Looks ready to peak in this race. Bit more to do from the outside barrier but can?t say this horse cannot win here. EXTRA BRUT (3) Will have to cross the entire field from the wide draw but certainly classy enough to take this out. One at a bit of odds.
Selections: 1 Thinkin’ Big, 2 Aramayo, 7 Savoie, 3 Extra Brut

Race 8:
LAND OF PLENTY (4) Far too classy when taking out the Toorak Handicap. Gets in well at the weights and will prove hard to beat again. HARTNELL (1) Tough warhorse who is racing in great form. Big ask with top weight again but should be thereabouts today. CLIFF’S EDGE (11) Good win in the Crystal Mile last start. Can be played on an each way basis here. LE ROMAIN (2) Much better suited over this trip and can easily get back to best form today. One at odds.
Selections: 4 Land Of Plenty, 1 Hartnell, 11 Cliff’s Edge, 2 Le Romain

Race 9:
I AM EXCITED (4) Was fighting out the finish when winning last start at the track. One of the major players. SNITTY KITTY (2) Will be pushing for a forward position early. Ended up 3.3L from the winner at Caulfield last start but third up from a break. Worth strong consideration. RESIN (6) Showed promise when winning last time at Randwick and strong at this distance with 2 wins from 4 runs. James Mcdonald is a bonus. Suitably placed in this race. FROM WITHIN (7) Won last run at Caulfield and should come to hand quickly. Keep an eye on the market
Selections: 4 I Am Excited, 2 Snitty Kitty, 6 Resin, 7 From Within

Sportsbet – Race Comments and Selections:

Race 1:
NOTE: Rail is true. Was 9m here 6/10 and there was no bias evident, great racing! Straight races were won well beyond the middle of track. SPEED: 7, 8 can lead 1, 4, 6, 12, 15. ADANA can measure up here at a nice price, he was the clear fastest last 200m all day at Warwick Farm, beating a well backed runner-up, and they gapped the rest. Form ties in with RANIER and Maid Of Heaven! VASSILATOR was much better with blinkers on latest behind a potential star and beat home GOOD ‘N’ FAST and SACHHARO (both good). Rainer nailed YULONG JANUARY, WILD PLANET and ZOUTORI, who all get to 1600m.
Selections: 14. Adana, 11. Saccharo, 2. Vassilator, 15. Zoutori

Race 2:
SPEED: 9 lead 3,5,11 with 4 handy. VERRY ELLEEGANT was luckless here when powered through line alongside Amphitrite (then won G1) then went 2000m and won Ethereal Stks from midfield (only winner all day to do same). EL DORADO DREAMING was excellent at MV if you are believer in the on-pace bias, if you are not, her run was good. She again pulled-up with throat issue so that is a query to 2000m? ARISTIA made Verry Elleegant work to beat her Caulfield & SIZZLEME ran very well taking over early off a hot (+13.5L Vs class ave) speed. Expect better YULONG METEOR ridden colder! MAUI GIRL blowout hope
Selections: 2. Verry Elleegant, 1. El Dorado Dreaming, 5. Sizzleme, 6. Yulong Meteor

Race 3:
OSBORNE BULLS has 59kg but ran a great race in The Everest at WFA off a top effort in a G1 at 1400m, he is drawn to swoop on them late. MISSROCK beat all-bar Rich Charm this race last year, her fresh run was good, her last 2nd-up run she was second to Santa Ana Lane in a G1 Goodwood. WINTER BRIDE is a winning machine, her form ties in with MIssrock through Booker. HAVASAY’s Schillachi run was much, much better than it looks on paper, best roughie? RUNSON smashed the track record at MV last week and ran .59 faster than G1 Manikato on the night!
Selections: 1. Osborne Bulls, 4. Missrock, 10. Runson, 9. Havasay

Race 4:
SPEED: 8 leads 1 with 9,11 up there. 3,13 next? BRIMHAM ROCKS and PRINCE OF ARRAN easily beat GALLIC CHIEFTAIN in Herbert Power behind Melb Cup fave, Gallic Chieftain then ran well in Caulfield Cup beating home MV Cup winner Ventura Storm. JAAMEH and YOGI were both very good here in Bart Cummings behind another Melb Cup hopeful in Avilius, Yogi then went to Geelong Cup and ran on well against the race-shape behind RUNAWAY and NORTHWEST PASSAGE (who also ran well in Bart Cummings). SIXTIES GROOVE and TALLY are hopes also.
Selections: 2. A Prince Of Arran, 6. Brimham Rocks, 10. Jaameh, 12. Yogi

Race 5:
ZOUSAIN split The Autumn Sun (then brilliant G1 winner) and Graff (then huge in The Everest against older sprinters) last start, he has been freshened for the drop to 1200m and jumped out well up the straight here. LEAN MEAN MACHINE had excuses in the Golden Rose, he has beaten Zousain and Graff. SESAR has beaten Lean Mean Machine and his fresh win was excellent, scared he may need further than 1200m now my only query. WRITTEN BY has never been beaten by a male horse. SUNLIGHT beat him in Golden Slipper and should have gone close in Manikato Stks last week Vs older sprinters.
Selections: 2. Zousain, 4. Lean Mean Machine, 10. Sunlight, 1. Written By

Race 6:
SPEED: 1, 9, 16 settle first three with 11, 17 handy. Always a great race and four top-shelf fillies add serious depth! ALOISIA looks back to her best, she ran fastest last 400m of the day at Caulfield second up when doubt ideally suited staying at 1400m on a track suiting on-pacers. SHUMOOKH won that race but the end of 1600m may test her? INVINCIBELLA is flying and better suited here. Prefer BRING ME ROSES here also. SHILLELAGH just ran well in the Rupert Clarke and comes back to her own sex. AMPHITRITE was a brilliant 1000 Guineas winner. OOHOOD ran super that day in Caulfield Guineas.
Selections: 5. Aloisia, 15. Amphitrite, 3. Shillelagh, 13. Oohood

Race 7:
SPEED: 1, 7 with 11, 13 right there. 5, 10, 12, 16 can all be handy. THINKIN’ BIG deserves favouritism. He worked early off strong (+2.8L v. average) speed in Spring Champion when ARAMAYO sailed by him. He was then dominant from the front at Caulfield and his time/splits were good relative to quality older horse Best of Days on the day. Aramayo then went to MV and ran on hard out wide against the ”non-existent” bias. SAVOIE took off early there and was only nailed late by STARS OF CARRUM. Both were very good. That ties SAVVY OAK and MICKEY BLUE EYES in. EXTRA BRUT gets another go on dry.
Selections: 1. Thinkin’ Big, 2. Aramayo, 7. Savoie, 3. Extra Brut

Race 8:
SPEED: 11,6,14 with 10,13,2 & maybe 15,18 up there. Where to start? LAND OF PLENTY was best run in the race in Rupert Clarke when back/wide then was backed heavy and won Toorak Hcp in strong style. PEACEFUL STATE was even wider in that Rupert Clarke then month between runs into Moonga Stks and made ground against day’s pattern, he wants 1600m now. NOIRE should have finished much closer in that Toorak Hcp, she is flying and over the odds. CLIFF’S EDGE was good there, then won MV. ICONOCLASM is progressive and SIRCCONI ties his form in. HARTNELL and LE ROMAIN are class!!
Selections: 16. Peaceful State, 4. Land Of Plenty, 8. Noire, 18. Iconoclasm

Race 9:
BOOKER failed at 1400m last time first go wet, she ran a great race prior on dry at 1200m and has run well in a Newmarket Hcp here. SNITTY KITTY has hardly had the ideal run both starts this prep and is back to her own sex today. I AM EXCITED ran over Eduardo here, that horse then beat SHE KNOWS, that form tie sin through Soothing, into RESIN. Don’t love gate 2 for I Am Exited though. FROM WITHIN will run a slick 1100m here if she handles her first go up the straight. JORDA has beaten I Am Excited here.
Runner
Selections: 2. Snitty Kitty, 7. From Within, 4. I Am Excited, 1. Booker

Betfair – Race Analysis & Selections:

Race 1:
Pace genuine with Irukandji booting up and Quackerjack and Yulong January pushing on from wider out. RANIER is a super consistent colt who broke through for an overdue win last time in stales grade. Looks suited at the mile and should go close again with a perfect run from the inside. GOOD ‘N’ FAST has been working up to a win including a last start fourth in the Caulfield Guineas. Easier assignment here and will go close. VASSILATOR also ran in the Guineas and turned in a huge run after a slow break before getting home hard into second. Expected to be in the finish on that run. IRUKANDJI will give a bold sight while WILD PLANET is racing well and looks a strong winning chance. Was close up behind Ranier latest without the best run.
1. Ranier (5 stars)
2. Good ‘N’ Fast (4 stars)
3. Vassilator (4 stars)

Race 2:
Pace genuine with Maui Girl leading the way. VERRY ELLEEGANT is a super consistent filly and looks the one to beat again. Won over this trip at Caulfield in Group 3 grade when pretty dominant and expected to go close here. EL DORADO DREAMING has placed two of three this campaign and looks ready to win. Got home hard after a slow start in this class at Moonee Valley over the mile and looks suited at the longer journey now. Ready to win and looks a strong chance. ARISTIA was runner up behind Verry Elleegant latest and should give a sight here. YULONG METEOR was below best latest but rates strongly on previous form and is among the chances.
1. Verry Elleegant (5 stars)
2. El Dorado Dreaming (4 stars)
3. Aristia (4 stars)

Race 3:
Pace genuine where Runson, Casino Wizard and The Monstar set a good tempo. OSBORNE BULLS has stepped up to top level this campaign and has run a couple of great races since a fresh up win. Well placed here deep out to be winding up strongly towards the outside fence. Looks the one to beat. WINTER BRIDE is a super consistent mare who has won her last four including both runs this time in. Has won both at Caulfield in Group 3 class and with the nice weight here should be putting herself into the finish again. RUNSON has also won his last two, the latest by a space at the Valley. Harder here but drops in weight and should give a huge sight close to the inside. BONS AWAY is ready to win after three runs in and a couple of recent placings. SO SI BON has a huge rating off last start and with a lighter weight here is right in this. Don’t underestimate.
1. Osborne Bulls (5 stars)
2. Winter Bride (4 stars)
3. Runson (4 stars)

Race 4:
Pace looks like to be the Waterhouse pair Runaway and Northwest Passage from their wide draws. BRIMHAM ROCKS is long overdue for a win and gets chance. Placed at last five including a last start second in the Herbert Power. Gets chance to break through with a nice run here. RUNAWAY raced on speed and fought on well to score in the Geelong Cup. Augers well for this and without a lot of pace will give a huge sight again. TALLY is fitter for three runs back and looks ready to show best. Thereabouts in the Coongy and over the longer journey here gets chance to rack one up. A PRINCE OF ARRAN is a UK galloper who caught the eye in the Herbert Power. Can only be fitter and looks suited by the big track. RISING RED is better than last time and can bounce back.
1. Brimham Rocks (5 stars)
2. Runaway (4 stars)
3. Tally (4 stars)

Race 5:
The fancied Written By and Sunlight should make the speed here and try to coast through a few early sectionals. WRITTEN BY is unbeaten as a three year old and looks the one to beat again. Lifted strongly to score with a bigger weight at Caulfield fresh then won with a bit in hand last time with the same weight. Never raced up the straight at Flemington but can only be further improved and is the one to catch. SUNLIGHT took on the older horses in the Manikato with the light weight and finished midfield without a lot of luck. Easier here back against own age and can bounce back. Rates strongly. SESAR is a Queenslander who won the Roman Consul in Sydney on his way to Melbourne. Rates well enough to measure up here. ZOUSAIN is ready to win while LEAN MEAN MACHINE rates well and will be charging at them late.
1. Written By (5 stars)
2. Sunlight (4 stars)
3. Sesar (4 stars)

Race 6:
Pace genuine with I Am A Star, Shumookh and from wider out Fundamentalist pushing forward. Fantastic race for the girls with a host of in form runners but none so more than AMPHITRITE, who has won all four this campaign. Has climbed a huge ladder this campaign from her maiden success to a Group 1 last time, claiming the 1000 Guineas. The mile suits and looks a top liner on current form. The one to beat with just 50kg against the mares. OOHOOD is another filly with a light weight and looks a big danger. Was no match for the winner in the 1000 Guineas but was slowly away and got home well. Is a Group 1 Flight Stakes winner the start prior and can bounce back here. SHUMOOKH is an in form mare who won in Group 2 grade latest and looks suited back up to the mile now. I AM A STAR is in top form and will be competitive while INVINCIBELLA is also in form and among the winning chances.
1. Amphitrite (5 stars)
2. Oohood (4 stars)
3. Shumookh (4 stars)

Race 7:
Pace from wide out with Savoie pushing forward, Louie The Legend from the middle and closer in Thinkin’ Big can lead if he chooses. THINKIN’ BIG has been very good over ground with three wins from last four and a placing in the Group 1 Spring Champion. Was dominant last time over 2000m at Caulfield and is suited at the longer trip here. Free running type who looks hard to catch again. ARAMAYO has been super consistent winning three back then placing last two including the Vase at the Valley last time. Hit the line hard there and looks tough to stop over the longer journey at Flemington. STARS OF CARRUM overcame a slow start to win the Vase last time and has to be included again. Seems to be getting better the more ground and should relish the long straight here. EXTRA BRUT struggled last time on the soft ground but won the three starts prior. Can improve sharply despite the draw. HOME GROUND is an improving stayer who is a last start winner and peaks into this. SAVOIE is super consistent and rates a strong winning chances but will need a little luck from the draw.

Race 8:
Pace genuine with Sircconi from in close and Dreamforce and Siege Of Quebec from wider out pushing on. Fantastic race with a host of winning chances outside the top few selections. HARTNELL can turn the tables on Land Of Plenty here. Won the Epsom two back then went down fighting in the Toorak last time. Meets the winner 2.5kg better and drawn for a good run. Can go close again. LAND OF PLENTY has been in top form including a dogged win in the Toorak. Up in weight but going great and has a nice draw. Expected to go close. CLIFF’S EDGE comes off a different formalise but was a Group 2 winner of the Crystal Mile at the Valley. Well placed here with the light weight and a definite winning hope. LE ROMAIN is overdue for a win and looks a strong each way chance while PEACEFUL STATE is among Darren Weir’s strong hand in this race and could sneak into it with the light weight.
1. Hartnell (5 stars)
2. Land Of Plenty (5 stars)
3. Cliff’s Edge (5 stars)

Race 9:
Strong pace with From Within, Snitty Kitty, Quilista and Petrelle setting a hot tempo. Open race and plenty of in form sprinters engaged. I AM EXCITED is a winner last time in the Gilgai here over the six furlongs. Up in weight but back a grade and peaks here. Expected to go close again. RESIN has won her last two including a big win at Randwick last time. Impressive the way she hit the line and can measure up here. FROM WITHIN has won her last four starts, the latest in Listed grade. Has earned this tougher assignment and will give a huge sight again. SNITTY KITTY is ready to win and will take catching while QUILISTA can sneak into the finish at odds.
1. I Am Excited (5 stars)
2. Resin (4 stars)
3. From Within (4 stars)

Ladbrokes – Race Comments:

Race 1:
YULONG JANUARY Won his first three career starts before a rider-less horse didn’t help when he had his colours lowered for the first time when a close second at Caulfield last start. First go at the mile and a wide gate to overcome but still rates as one of the key chances. RANIER Was placed at his first five career starts before breaking through with a strong win in the Gothic Stakes at Caulfield last start. It would be no surprise to see him string a couple together after a confidence boosting win. GOOD ‘N’ FAST Won successive races at Flemington at the start of his career but was outclassed in the Caulfield Guineas last start. This is easier and is worth including in the wider exotics. WILD PLANET Won the Poseidon Stakes at Flemington two back before a close third in the Gothic at Caulfield last start and there is nothing to suggest he won’t be in the finish again.

Race 2:
VERRY ELLEEGANT Won two of her three starts in New Zealand before crossing the Tasman to enter the Darren Weir yard and was the unlucky runner in the Edward Manifold before an impressive win in the Ethereal Stakes and is the one to beat again. EL DORADO DREAMING Has raced well in three runs this preparation culminating in a closing third in the Fillies Classic at Moonee Valley last start. Is racing like she needs the step up in distance and is right in the mix. ARISTIA Is still a maiden after nine starts however she relished the step up to 2000m when run down late in the Ethereal Stakes last start. Gets a set of winkers for the first time and goes in all the exotics. SIZZLEME Battled on well when third in the Ethereal at Caulfield last start and rates as one of the key chances here getting all the favours in running from the inside gate.

Race 3:
OSBORNE BULLS Has put together an excellent record with eight wins and four placings from 13 starts to date including a third in the Everest last start when he found the fast lane on the outside fence. First run up the straight but that shouldn’t be an issue and is the one to beat. WINTER BRIDE Is racing in great form winning last four on the trot including the How Now Stakes and Northwood Plume at Caulfield in her latest two outings. This is her toughest test to date but it is hard to knock the winning form. SAVANNA AMOUR Has been well beaten in her two runs this time in but has won a Cranbourne trial in the interim and an improved showing wouldn’t surprise. BONS AWAY Has been placed in the Gilgai and Caulfield Sprint at last two starts and should be right at her peak fourth-up.

Race 4:
BRIMHAM ROCKS Is a Chris Waller-trained import who hasn’t missed a place in his seven Australian starts including a photo finish second in the Metropolitan two back before chasing home the Melbourne Cup favourite Yucatan in the Herbert Power last start. This looks his chance to register his first win in Australia. SIXTIES GROOVE Has won three of last four for Darren Weir including the Moe Cup last start. Still has scope for improvement at his third run back from a nine-week let-up and is right in the mix. NORTHWEST PASSAGE Didn’t shirk his task chasing home his stablemate Runaway in the Geelong Cup last start. Makes his own luck on speed and is worth including in the wider exotics. GALLIC CHIEFTAIN Has been well beaten last couple but stays under notice on his JRA Cup third at Moonee Valley three runs back and can improve with the Darren Weir polish.

Race 5:
SUNLIGHT Has only missed a place once in her 11 starts to date and has returned to the winner’s stall on 12 occasions including a win in the Thoroughbred Club Stakes two back and was a Golden Slipper placegetter in the Autumn. Didn’t get the clearest of runs in the straight taking on the older horses in the Manikato at Moonee Valley last start and is the one to beat back to her own age. WRITTEN BY Has only had his colours lowered once in his seven start career and that was in the Golden Slipper when fourth. Has come back in terrific order winning successive races at Caulfield and will take a power of beating here. ZOUSAIN Resumes from a six-week let-up after beating all but The Autumn Sun in the Golden Rose at Rosehill. Is a Group II winner at the 1200m and rates a winning chance. SESAR Could not have been more impressive coming from a mile back to win the Roman Consul at Randwick last start. Whether he was flattered by the heavy track is a genuine query but he did win the Ken Russell at the Gold Coast on a good surface over the Brisbane Winter Carnival. It would be no surprise to see him winning again.

Race 6:
INVINCIBELLA Is racing in good form winning two of last four including the Blazer Stakes at Caulfield two back before working home strongly when runner-up in the Tristarc Stakes at Caulfield last start. Is racing like she needs the step up to the mile and is the top rater in an open race OOHOOD Lost the tag of Australia’s best maiden winning the Flight Stakes at Randwick two back and was far from disgraced when third in the Caulfield Guineas last start. She will take a power of beating with just 50kg on her back taking on the older mares. AMPHITRITE Has hit her straps this preparation winning all four starts including the Edward Manifold and Thousand Guineas at last two starts. Has to rate a winning chance taking on the mares with nothing on her back. I AM A STAR Is in winning form winning her last three on the trot including the Ladies Day Vase at Caulfield last start. Will be right on the speed in a race where there doesn’t look to be much early pressure and will take plenty of running down.

Race 7:
THINKIN’ BIG Controlled the speed in front and gave nothing else a chance winning the Caulfield Classic last start after winning the Gloaming and placing in the Spring Champion Stakes at previous two starts. Looks the leader again and is the one to beat. ARAMAYO Won the Spring Stakes at Newcastle three back before placing in the Spring Champion Stakes and Moonee Valley Vase last start. Races like the Derby trip will suit and is right in the mix. SAVOIE Won the Derby Trial at Flemington three back before finishing third in the UCI Stakes. Was nailed on the line in the Moonee Valley Vase last start. The trip looks a genuine query but will be on speed and can place if left alone in front. CHAPADA Has improved at each of his four starts to date winning his maiden at Wangaratta two back by five-lengths before working home solidly when runner-up in the Caulfield Classic albeit it three-lengths from the winner last start. Has a sense of timing about him and is a genuine winning chance.

Race 8:
LAND OF PLENTY Hasn’t missed a place at last eight starts and five times a winner in the sequence including the Toorak at Caulfield last start. Goes up 2.5kg for the win but doubt that is enough to stop and is the one to beat again. HARTNELL Is in terrific form this preparation winning the Epsom at Randwick two back before finishing runner-up in the Toorak last start. Meets the winner better at the weights and gets the chance to reverse the result. ICONOCLASM Is chasing three straight wins after successive victories at Caulfield and Moonee Valley. Faces a significant rise in grade but that is somewhat offset with a 7kg weight drop and is worth including in the wider exotics. LE ROMAIN Continues to race well finishing second in the George Main chasing home Winx two runs back before finishing fourth in the Everest at Randwick last start. Is a winner over the Flemington mile and there is nothing to suggest he won’t be in the finish again.

Race 9:
I AM EXCITED Is chasing back to back wins after charging home late to win the Gilgai over the straight 1200m last start. Back to 1100m looks the only concern but is still the one to beat. PETRELLE Won her first two career starts at Ballarat and Bendigo before finishing runner-up in the Durbridge Stakes at Morphettville last start. This is harder but looks to have some upside and shouldn’t be under estimated. SNITTY KITTY Was the Oakleigh Plate runner-up earlier in the year and has been far from disgraced taking on the males in the Moir and Schillaci in her two runs this preparation. She’s right in play back to a mares race. RESIN Is chasing a hat trick of wins after winning last two including the Nivison at Randwick last start. Rates a winning chance again with the Godolphin polish and James McDonald in the saddle.
