The following are betting tips for selected fixtures in Gameweek 20 of the 2025/26 English Premier League season. Where two or more options are provided for the same tip, pick the one that best suits your risk appetite.

Please note that Gameweek 20 commences just one day after Gameweek 19. Four Gameweek 19 fixtures had yet to be played at the time of writing.

Aston Villa vs. Nottm Forest

 

Aston Villa in the head-to-head at 1.82 (Dabble)

Aston Villa have won eight of their last nine league games. They have also won seven league home games in a row. Nottingham Forest have lost three in a row and they only scored one goal during that stretch. Villa have gone 11-3-1 as the home favourite over the last twelve months, while Forest have gone 2-2-9 as the away underdog. Nottingham Forest lost all three previous visits to Villa Park since promotion.

 

Brighton vs. Burnley

Brighton should win this, but there’s not enough value on them at the prevailing odds. Brighton have a draw-heavy 6-5-3 record as the home favourite over the last twelve months. They also have a winless 0-4-2 home record against Burnley in the Premier League. Brighton bring a six-game winless streak into this game, and that run includes home fixtures against West Ham and Sunderland. Burnley enter this game having drawn two of their last three games.

 

Bournemouth vs. Arsenal

 

Arsenal Draw No Bet at 1.23 (Betfair)

Arsenal have key defenders Gabriel and Saliba both available. The Gunners have won all five league matches this season when both have played the entire game. Arsenal have gone 9-6-1 as the away favourite over the last twelve months. Bournemouth completed the double over Arsenal last season, but the Cherries enter this game without a win in ten league games (0-5-5).

 

Leeds vs. Man Utd

 

Note: Leeds have yet to play their away fixture against Liverpool at the time of writing.

Man Utd have two extra days to prepare for this game, however they were without eight senior players due to injuries and international call-ups for their most recent fixture. Leeds are unbeaten in their last three home games, which were against Chelsea, Liverpool and Crystal Palace. The Whites scored 3+ goals in all three of those games.

 

Newcastle vs. Crystal Palace

 

Note: Crystal Palace have yet to play their home fixture against Fulham at the time of writing.

Newcastle have two extra days to prepare for this fixture. Crystal Palace limp into this game having played eight fixtures in December. Newcastle have gone 11-1-3 as the home favourite over the last twelve months. Crystal Palace have gone 2-2-7 at St. James’ Park since promotion. Their last two visits to Newcastle saw them lose by 4-0 and 5-0 margins. Palace failed to score a goal in their last four visits to St. James’ Park.

 

Man City vs. Chelsea

Manchester City have won eight consecutive EPL home games. Over the last twelve months they have gone 15-1-1 as the home favourite. Chelsea have only managed one win in their last seven matches. City completed the double over Chelsea last season.
