NRL Round 6 Preview and Tips – Friday Fixtures

THE LONG HARD LOOK WITH MIKE WILSON

NRL ROUND 6 PREVIEW

FRIDAY

Parramatta Eels v Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs
ANZ Stadium, 7.35pm

Two traditional rivals square off in a battle for redemption. The Bulldogs are coming off two straight losses whilst the Eels are looking to give fans something to cheer about after the belting they copped from the Storm last week. I like the Bulldogs here as they will take advantage of any weakness in the Eels’ defensive line whether it be smaller players or a broken line. Unfortunately their odds are a bit slim for betting here.

Gold Coast Titans v Wests Tigers
Skilled Park, 7.35pm

The Titans can’t be ruled out here despite their slow start to the season. They have put in two gallant performances in front of their home crowd this year and will be desperate for a win. Scott Prince hardly set the world on fire with his performance last week but rarely has two bad games in a row. Hooker Nathan Friend will be playing much harder after his first-up run last week after injury.
