NSW State of Origin Line-up Game One

THE LONG HARD LOOK WITH MIKE WILSON

Update: a full preview of game 2 is now available.

Coach Ricky Stuart has opted for a debutant fullback in Josh Dugan over Jarryd Hayne and also decided on Michael Ennis as hooker over Robbie Farrah.

When asked about the selection of Michael Jennings as opposed to in form youngster Jamal Idris, Stuart made it clear that despite Idris being good enough, he was after a specialist left centre, whereas Idris’ preferred position is as a right centre.

NSW Origin team:

Fullback: Josh Dugan

Five Eighth: Jamie Soward

Halfback: Mitchell Pearce

Front Row: Jason King, Michael Ennis, Kade Snowden
