NRL Round 13 Preview and Tips Saturday – Gold Coast Titans v Penrith Panthers

THE LONG HARD LOOK WITH MIKE WILSON

Gold Coast Titans v Penrith Panthers
Skilled Park, 5:30pm

The Panthers have shown that they are slowly on the improve in recent weeks with some solid demonstrations of quality footy. Their main problem seems to be the consistency of it all, failing to play hard ball for the full 80 minutes. One big stat against them is that they have only one win on the road in 2011 which was against the Eels in Round 2.

Matt Srama gets his second crack at first grade following Nathan Friend’s declaration that he has most likely played his last game in 2011, and ultimately, his last as a Titan. Ashley Harrison is back fresh after being rested last week following his rep duties for QLD.

There’s not much in this one and I’m expecting an entertaining game with both sides being prepared to throw the ball around a bit (weather permitting)

Mike’s Best Bet: None
