The Titans are staring down the barrel of 5 straight losses but their chances get an obvious boost this week thanks to a plethora of Dragons players answering the call of State of Origin. Against a weakened Dragons side the game is there for the taking but the Titans have been playing an ordinary brand of football and so start this game as the underdogs. The Titans last week rarely looked like scoring as a result of poor completion rate. Titans coach John Cartwright this week stood down from his position as NSW assistant coach so he could focus on the struggles his club is enduring. Missed tackles and completion rates will be at the top of the training agenda for this match.
The Titans need to win this week or start looking towards 2012.
