NRL Round 20 Preview and Tips – Penrith Panthers v Manly Sea Eagles

THE LONG HARD LOOK WITH MIKE WILSON

Penrith Panthers v Manly Sea Eagles

Centerbet Stadium, 3:00pm

Panthers $2.60, Sea Eagles $1.50

Panthers: Lachlan Coote, David Simmons, Michael Jennings, Brad Tighe, Adrian Purtell, Travis Burns, Luke Walsh, Sam McKendry, Kevin Kingston, Petero Civoniceva (c), Trent Waterhouse, Nigel Plum, Luke Lewis. Interchange (from): Nafe Seluini, Dayne Weston, Nathan Smith, Tim Grant, Matthew Bell

Sea Eagles: Brett Stewart, Michael Robertson, Jamie Lyon (c), Steve Matai, Will Hopoate, Kieran Foran, Daly Cherry-Evans, Jason King (c), Matt Ballin, Brent Kite, Anthony Watmough, Joe Galuvao, Glenn Stewart. Interchange (from): Vic Mauro, Jamie Buhrer, Shane Rodney, George Rose, Tim Robinson, Darcy Lussick

Manly may be playing some awe inspiring footy but their record is only so so when it comes to playing at Centrebet Stadium. In the last 4 encounters at the venue, both sides have nabbed 2 wins each.

This will be a good test for the Panthers leading into the finals and the result should give them a good indication of where they stand in relation to the top 4 teams on the ladder.

Manly lost winger David Williams to a hamstring injury last week but rookie superstar Will Hopoate will slot straight into the side. The strong depth of this Manly side is definitely a major contributor to their success in 2011.

Mike’s Best Bet: None

  1. If you don’t have the guts to pick the winners or suggest bets like Andy Marshall, then please give this column to someone else whose has the ability and knowledge to give the tips. Thanks

    1. I think you have somehow missed when I have posted best bets. I post at least one bet per round and if you have followed my tips you would be showing a healthy profit. I make it very clear what to bet on and how much to bet using a specialised staking plan.
I’m not in the habit of betting on every game just for the sake of it.
The fact that I’m showing a profit demonstrates my ability and if winning tips do not satisfy you then there is nothing more I can do.
I started the year with a $2000 starting bank which is now up to $2478.42.
      I hope this helps.
Good luck with your punting and I look forward to providing more winning tips for you in 2011.
