IT’S THE FIRST VISIT OF THE YEAR to Manly’s home ground of Brookvale Oval which will be a relief for the Sea Eagles and their fans following 3 straight losses for the team. The Sea Eagles are struggling without strike forwards Glen Stewart and Tony Williams. Captain Jamie Lyon returns to the side after having a week out and this sees Manly’s odds for the match plummet into the $1.45 mark.
The Panthers, like Manly have only won two games this year but have shown some glimpses of quality footy. They fought back well last week against the Sharks only to go down by a point.
I’m tipping Manly based on their recent record against the Panthers which reads 3 wins from 4 matches but we may be in for a close match nonetheless.
Chance of winning: Manly 57%, Panthers 42%, Draw 1%
