Sportsbet’s 2013 NRL Grand Final Tip ‘n’ Win – $10,000 Cash Prize

To celebrate the 2013 NRL Grand Final, Sportsbet has launched a Tip ‘n’ Win competition with a $10,000 cash prize. Participation is free for Sportsbet members and no deposit is required. Members are not obliged to place wagers to enter the competition.

To participate, submit your tips for the Winning Team & Winning Margin, 1st Try Scorer, Clive Churchill Medalist and the Total Combined Match Points. The winner will be the person who accumulates the highest tipping score based on the following points system:

Winning Team & Margin
Correct Winning team and Correct Winning Margin (eg. Broncos by 16 points winning margin) – 15 points
Correct Winning team and tipped within 2 points either side of Correct Winning Margin – 5 points
Correct Winning team and tipped within 3-4 points either side of Correct Winning Margin – 2 points
Tipped the Correct Winning Team only – 1 point

1st Try Scorer
Correct 1st Try Scorer – 10 points
Scored 1st Try of 2nd Half – 3 points
Scored Last Try of Game – 5 points
Note: Members can score multiple points in the 1st Try Scorer category.

Clive Churchill Medal
Correct Clive Churchill Medalist – 10 points

Total Combined Match Points
Tipped Correct Combined Match Points Spread – 5 points
Tip within 2 points either side of Correct Match Points spread – 2 points
Tip within 3-6 points either side of Correct Match Points spread – 1 point

The maximum possible score is 48 points. The member with the most points will win $10,000 in cash. If there are two or more members on equal points, the $10,000 cash prize will be equally shared by those winners.

In addition to the main prize, a free bet consolation prize pool of $5,000 will be paid to the next top 100 winners, with $500 being paid to 2nd | $250 to 3rd | $200 to 4th | $100 to 5th. If more than one person is equal 2nd or 3rd or 4th or 5th then the free bet prizes for the dead heated winners will be added together and equally divided. The balance of the pool will be equally shared by the remaining Top 100 ranked point scorers.
