Back for its second year, Sportingbet is giving its members the chance to win $1 million on the Cox Plate with its Pick 8 Million Dollar Challenge.
To participate, tip the first 8 runners in correct finishing order for the Cox Plate. Guess correctly and you’ll win $1,000,000 in cash. If more than one entrant achieves the feat then those members will share the million dollar prize equally. In the event that no one picks the correct 8 – which is what happened last year – Sportingbet will award the person that picks the most horses in correct finishing order $25,000. If there is a tie for the best attempt then those members will share the $25,000 prize equally.
Registration opens on October the 19th and you will be able to pick your eight horses following the barrier draw at 12 PM on Tuesday, October 22nd. You can make your selections up until at 3 PM on Cox Plate day, which is Saturday the 26th of October. You can change your selections as many times as you like until the window closes.
