Ladbrokes Race Comments:

Race 6:
Hard to go against the super consistent LYUBA. She didn’t have a lot of luck and could be unbeaten this prep. Straight into the box seat, if she can get out at the top of the straight she’ll be tough to beat. AMERISTRALIA is a promising mare on her way to better things. With just the one turn to get around she’ll be steaming over them late. CHIAVARI always has each-way claims in this sort of race and GREY STREET could be the value for exotics.

Race 7:
PLEIN CIEL is airborne and headed to better races than this. He’s bred to stay so suited up in trip, only bad luck from the inside gate can beat him. REWARDING EFFORT is another in flying form. If he can slot in from the middle gate he’ll be strong late. COOL CHAP looked good in the recent jump out. This trip will suit off the freshen up. DOCTOR CARE could be the value. He looks ready to run a big race.

Race 8:
CHANCE TO DANCE might be able to charge over the top of these. He always fires fresh and there looks to be a solid speed on up front to give him his chance. BURNING FRONT will be rock hard fit now. He may have to take a sit again with speed drawn out but no shock if he did hold the front. MIHANY always runs well in this sort of race and GOLDEN MANE could be the value.

Race 9:
BRADMAN might not be the easiest horse to catch but this does look a suitable race. If he can get cover in the three-wide line with the speed on up front he’ll be charging home at a bit of odds. KING’S COMMAND will enjoy the drop back to this grade. In well with the claim and the good gate should see him hard to beat. SHOCKAHOLIC could be a big knockout. He’ll be steaming home late and IN FAIRNESS will be the one to run down. He’ll be strong in front back to this trip.

Ladbrokes Race Comments:

Race 5:
They will go very fast with several speedsters drawn wide. JUST ORM is resuming, he showed ability as a 2YO and his recent trial was good, he should be prominent for Robbie Fradd. DUTY DUDE is in good form and drops 2.5kg on his most recent win in good company, he will be prominent throughout. The former stablemate THIS IS AUSTRALIA is resuming after moving to Matt Dunn, his trial was solid, he races well fresh and has the speed to be prominent. SIR DONALD is very speedy but can be risky at start and will need to overcome the gate.

Race 6:
A number of the better chances are poorly drawn on the tight track. ECKSTEIN is in super form this preparation, he is nicely drawn and with Brenton Avdulla to ride should be prominent throughout. EL SASSO is resuming, he goes well fresh and is suited by this distance, he is poorly drawn but could be running on for Robbie Fradd. DAPH ‘N’ ALF is honest and will be improved by his first-up run, he should be handy throughout from the good gate. ROUGH EDDIE has plenty of speed and will be hard to run down from his inside gate.

Race 7:
Another open race, final gates important. RINGO’S A ROCKSTAR put in a solid effort when resuming, he is better suited at this distance and should be prominent throughout. Blinkers come off ALWAYS SACRED, he likes this track and could improve on his effort when slowly away on resuming. PROFILER returned to form at Murwillumbah but this is harder, even with the claim he has plenty of weight but should be prominent from the good gate. JACK LANCASTER is racing soundly, he is awkwardly drawn but should be running on.

Race 8:
Many chances. UMGENI got a long way back and ran on fairly when resuming, he goes well at this track and should get a good run throughout. FORGOTTEN YEARS has been in good form and this distance suits, he is awkwardly drawn but should be running on. OLD HABITS is resuming and has a good first-up record, he should be running on late for Brenton Avdulla. OPEN BOOK has changed stables, he has not far away at all three outings since resuming and his last win was at this distance, he could show up.

Ladbrokes Race Comments:

Race 6:
ROCK MYLADY should have just about got the money at Rosehill last start after only seeing daylight late. Has a good record this track and distance and set to make amends peaking third-up. KINGSGUARD chasing the hat trick after successive wins this distance range. Up in grade but 5kg weight drop on his last win keeps him right in play. MURAQABA resumes from a 67-day let-up. Randwick winner fresh two runs back and at least a place chance fresh here. SEWREEL has won from 10 in New Zealand including an Oaks Prelude win. First Australian start for new stable and looking for a market lead.

Race 7:
OXFORD POET resumes on the back of successive trial wins at Newcastle and Wyong. Randwick runner-up resuming last time in and looks ready to go fresh here. MR MANHATTAN won successive races at Warwick Farm and Canterbury before having no luck in the Starlight at Rosehill last start. Is unbeaten in two runs this track and distance and can bounce back. COSMIC CAMEO has won two of last five both this track and distance. Nothing on his back after the claim and has to be given a winning chance launching from an ideal gate. PLATEAU GOLD 29-days since lumping 63.5kg to win at Coffs Harbour and has won a trial in the interim. The 9kg weight drop keeps him right in play here.

Race 9:
KING DARCI two wins four placings from last seven starts. Is a winner this track and distance and right in the mix here from an ideal gate. STAR WARS placed at Rosehill resuming before hitting the line strongly finishing on the placegetters heels at the same track last start. Peaks third-up and is a winner at the track and distance. HOGMANAY chasing the hat trick after successive wins at Rosehill. Four-weeks between runs but has trialled in the interim. Expected to be right in the finish again from an ideal gate. TOWER OF SONG races well fresh
