Race 2
Wide gates have made it an open race. DIAMOND BARONESS has the tactical speed to offset the wide gate. Even luck going forward and she’ll take beating. CRUISING SPEED gets the run of the race. If she handles Caulfield, she’ll run well. DEJA BLUE is going to well to ignore despite the bad gate. CAT’S WISH and NEW SUMMER NIGHT next best.
Race 6
BARTHELONA has good upside on his first-up run and he gets in much better at these weights. He’ll be hard to hold out. FUHRYK is a talented filly off a good win. She’ll be charging through the line. SAVANNA AMOUR is a big betting watch with Williams taking the ride. IF NOT NOW WHEN and ARTIE DEE TWO next best in a deep race.
Race 7
HELLBENT looks the key to the race with no recent trials. If he brings his best form from last prep he’d run over the top of these. KAYJAY’S JOY always fires fresh and she looked good in the recent jump out. CHURCHILL DANCER is too good to leave out and a big betting watch EL DIVINO first run for the Weir camp.
Race 8
DIVINE MR ARTIE gets his chance to bounce back with the drop in grade. Ridden quiet he’ll charge home. BRADMAN only has to hold his form to charge home again. DUIBIO looks to have been set for this race. If he meets with support he’ll go close. THE NEW BOY goes in any exotics.
Race 9
Tricky race with a few that are hard to catch. HIPPARCHUS was luckless last start. Drawn for a perfect run, he won’t get a better chance. MANAPINE is ready to peak. He’ll lead or box seat and be tough to get past. GOLDEN MANE will enjoy this grade and be steaming home. Many more chances including BATTLECAMP that will be much better odds than recent runs.

Race 5
ECHO EFFECT Won three from four in his first preparation with his only defeat coming in a Stakes race at Randwick. Didn’t shirk his task finishing runner-up at Randwick resuming after travelling wide in the run. Just needs even luck in running from the gate to just about win this. AUSTRALIANA had plenty on a maiden field at Newcastle Beaumont on debut when he led all the way. 33-days between runs but has been kept up to the mark with a Randwick trial and looks right up to a race like this. AWOKE resumes on the back of a Rosehill trial placing. Won her first two career starts and was only a length and a half from the winner in the Group II Tea Rose in the Spring. Goes in everything fresh. Expecting ROYAL NAVY to go on with the job now.
Race 6
MUSIC MAGNATE resumes and has been impressive at the trials winning twice at Randwick and Rosehill. Won the Hall Mark first-up last preparation and looks ready to go fresh here. KURO racing really well winning two of last three including the Takeover Target at Gosford last start. Nothing to suggest he won’t be right in the finish again launching from the inside gate. BALL OF MUSCLE looked to be coasting straightening in the Takeover Target at Gosford last start but weakened to finish third. Give him another chance here peaking third-up. BIG MONEY hasn’t been far from the winner both runs this time in. Generally peaks third-up and goes in all the exotics.
Race 7
HARPER’S CHOICE has hit his straps since stepping up in distance winning two of last three. Rise in grade but a 6kg weight drop keeps him right in play and a definite winning chance. SEWREEL New Zealand mare and the winner of four races before crossing the Tasman. Placed in the Belle Of The Turf at Gosford at first Australian start. At least a place hope again. THE RUMOUR FILE back in distance after finishing fourth over 2400m at Randwick last start. Best form this distance range and no surprise to see a sharp improvement. VASSAL 35-days since finishing on the placegetters heels at Rosehill last start. Has trialled in the interim and best form this distance range. Rates as one of the key chances.
Race 8
SCARLET RAIN resumes and should be fit enough after three trials winning the latest at Kembla. Only defeat came in the Slipper when she had excuses. Looks set for a successful return to racing. QUATRONIC resumes on the back of a Gold Coast trial win. Doomben winner resuming last time in before winning a Highway Handicap at Rosehill. Looks ready to go fresh. SANGIOVESE Warwick Farm winner resuming two runs back before finding 1200m a touch too far last start. The 1100m ideal and right in the mix. BADAJOZ did a good job to win this trip at Randwick resuming. Half a kilo less weight here and right in the mix again form the inside gate.
Race 9
YOUR WAY has won five from six and unbeaten in two runs this time in including a Canterbury victory last start. Has to take another step here but hard to knock the winning form. ATOM EVE impressive winner of a Highway Handicap at Canterbury resuming. Has only missed a place once in seven starts and four times a winner. Looks right up to a race like this. SEZANNE resumes and the winner of latest trial at Warwick Farm. Canterbury winner first-up last time in and looks ready to go fresh here from barrier one. LADY JIVAGO placed here four runs back and hasn’t been far from the winner in three runs since. Just needs some luck from an awkward gate to be in the finish again.
