CHAUTAUQUA is the key to the race. He wasn’t at his best last prep but did look good in the recent trial. If he’s anywhere near his best he’s the one to beat at these weights. HELLBENT draws to get to the outside. Ridden quiet he’ll launch late. WILD RAIN is an underrated mare. She’ll lead or box seat and be the one to catch. Little between EL DIVINO, SUPER CASH and I AM A STAR that can all get into the finish.
Race 7
Barriers have opened up the race. LUCKY HUSSLER was luckless last start and has a lot in his favour in this. A perfect run on a dry track will see him charge home. BLACK HEART BART and MALAGUERRA are the clear class runners. If either has a touch of luck slotting in from bad gates they’ll be the one to beat. DIVINE PROPHET gets a perfect run and watch for JAMEKA charging home after being tested in the recent jump out.
Race 8
Hard to go past BURNING FRONT. Once he finds his form he holds it for a long time and he gets a perfect run on the pace. He’ll take catching. GRANDE ROSSO gets the box seat run again, he can keep on his great form. If they over do it up front HUMIDOR will be screaming home. The stayers PILOTE D’ESSAI and TOM MELBOURNE could add value to any exotics.
Race 9
If AMERISTRALIA has and luck getting into the three-wide line from the wide gate she’ll take some beating. This is the race she’s been set for. PRUSSIAN VIXEN is flying and a touch underrated. She’ll lead and be there for a long way. THAMES COURT and SILENT SEDITION need some luck from bad gates but this race is ideal first-up. Big betting watch ABBEY MARIE, she’ll be screaming home.
