RISING ROMANCE got close to Black Heart Bart first-up over this trip last prep. Solid in the latest jump out, she will give away a start but can launch at them late. HAPPY HANNAH is a big betting watch. The Snowden stable wouldn’t bring her down if she wasn’t ready to run a big race fresh. TURBO MISS gets a perfect run just off pace. Ready to peak, she’ll run a big race. DIAMOND BARONESS is flying. She’ll lead and be the one to run down. I LOVE IT next best in an open race.
Race 6
Betting is hugely important with the classier runners resuming. KENJORWOOD is well weighted in this grade and gets a perfect run. He’s sure to have had a few recent private trials so respect any betting moves. HOOKED has changed stables again. He looked good in the recent jump out, if he meets with support follow in. GRANDE ROSSO, ZEBRINZ and SADAQA are all rock hard fit and racing well and HE OR SHE is classy in this grade, he can charge home.
Race 7
Hard to find any negatives with HEY DOC. He’s had the perfect prep and again falls straight into the box seat. He’ll quicken and be hard to run down. PRIZED ICON is perfectly placed at the mile 2nd-up. From the good gate, he gets his chance. HARLOW GOLD has come back in great shape. She’ll charge home from the good gate. DIVINE PROPHET has to be included and THROSSELL could be the knockout at big odds.
Race 8
The compressed weights favour a few but it is a wide open race. NORTHWEST PASSAGE just keeps on stepping up to everything they throw at him. Well in at the weights, he should take catching. ANNUS MIRABILIS will love the step back to a long trip. Even luck from the gate will have him hard to hold out. POST D’FRANCE looks suited up in trip, he’s racing in peak form. LIKE A CAROUSEL is ready to fire and there’s many more chances.
Race 9
KNOWABLE has been racing in peak form all prep and didn’t have a lot of luck last start. With even luck slotting in midfield or better he’ll go close. THEANSWERMYFRIEND has a stack of upside this prep. He will roll forward and be tough to run down. REDOUBLE will enjoy more speed on here and a perfect run, he’ll be hard to hold out. Watch for any betting leads with ROCKSTAR REBEL. He’ll be better over longer but is a real talent. Deep race with many more chances.

Race 7
SPOILS is still a maiden but has contested the top level juvenile races to start her career. Has obvious ability. TIME AWAITS has had two runs out of maiden grade, both in black type races and hasn’t disgraced herself. This is easier but drawn out. PAGAENTRY also has lined up against the best coming out of similar races, should be one of the leaders with the blinkers on for the first time. PREPARE TO WIN should get a soft run off the inside gate.
Race 8
MASTER OF ARTS has been racing consistently in Victoria, has a good turn of foot but just needs to be saved for one late run. SECOND BULLET was a dominant winner fresh then worked to the line well when second-up. He should be nearing peak fitness now and just needs luck getting off the inside. MAIL IT IN has been super, will be running on hard and hasn’t done a thing wrong of late. JIM’S JOURNEY next best but it would be a surprise to see anything else win.

MUSIC MAGNATE five weeks between runs since winning the Expressway resuming. Has won a trial in the interim and unbeaten on soft and heavy ground. Big chance. LE ROMAIN impressive return to racing in the Southern Cross. Has a very good record at Randwick and generally holds his form second-up. In the mix again. CHAUTAUQUA hit the line strongly when placed in the Rubiton resuming. Hasn’t won in three starts since returning from Hong Kong. That’s a little query. UGO FOSCOLO New Zealand gelding who has only tasted defeat once in six starts before crossing the Tasman and a Group I winner. Won his latest trial at Warwick Farm and a big watch here.
Race 6
ENGLISH has won two recent trials running time on both occasions. Struggled last preparation but trials suggest she is set for a much-improved campaign. REDZEL resumes and the winner of a recent trial at Warwick Farm in good time. Won the July Sprint on a heavy track at Canterbury resuming last preparation and looks ready to go fresh here. DAL CIELO has found the form that saw him placed in a Group II as a three-year-old winning last two at Warwick Farm and Randwick. Don’t under-estimate stepping up in grade here. JUNGLE EDGE resumes on the back of a runner-up finish in a Casterton trial. Excels on soft and heavy tracks and likely to get conditions to suit. Goes in all the exotics.
Race 7
COMIN’ THROUGH close up in the Eskimo prince and Hobartville in both runs this campaign. Won the Carbine Club this trip third-up last preparation and a repeat is on the cards here. MAN FROM UNCLE no fluke at all in winning the Eskimo Prince and Hobartville on both runs this time in. Right in the mix again. ECHO EFFECT placed all three runs this time in. Nailed on the line in the Hobartville last start. Unbeaten on heavy tracks so likely to get conditions to suit and can turn the tables. INVINCIBLE GEM chasing four straight victories after a comfortable win in the Spring Stakes this track and distance last start. Gets the weight advantage as the only filly in the race and right in the mix.
Race 8
TSARITSA solid at Randwick first-up but well beaten in the Millie Fox. Unbeaten third-up and a winner on heavy ground. Set to bounce back. CIRCULAR hasn’t been far from the winner in the Breeder’s Classic and Millie Fox Stakes in her two runs this time. Peaks third-up and goes in all the exotics. ELLE LOU appreciated the soft conditions to win at Rosehill last start. Has a superb soft track record but still a maiden on heavy ground. Just depends what the track is like on the day. AMBIENCE well beaten in the Apollo resuming but generally improves second-up and a likely improver back to her own sex.
Race 9
ASTRONOMOS just a run short at Randwick resuming. Has a very good second-up record and three times a winner on heavy ground. Ready to win. ALLERGIC hasn’t been far from the winner both runs this time in. Has a solid record at the track and distance and right in this peaking third-up. OUR CENTURY finished on the placegetters heels at Flemington resuming. Caulfield winner second-up and have to respect the Williams runners when they travel to Sydney. MONTAUK battled on well with the weights against him last week. 6.5kg weight drop keeps him right in play here.
