Match Comments

Leicester vs Sunderland

There is a small amount of value for Sunderland here. Leicester are being priced like one of the regular home favourite teams now and we’re not sure they can be trusted to execute another home win, there is certainly no reward if they do.

Burnley vs Stoke

Burnley’s good form didn’t continue against Spurs at the weekend but we still think there is some value in the price against Stoke who have a very average away record. The markets are pricing this as though there isn’t too much between these teams.

Watford vs West Brom

There isn’t much of a record for Watford against this grade of opposition. The draw however is a standout given 47% of the similar games ended in a stalemate. This is backed up with value for the draw on the overall record.

Man United vs Everton

Both the draw and Everton show value with each data set. This would suggest Man Utd are too short. There really isn’t that much betweeen the teams here so the Asian Handicap +1 goal, or +0.5 goals to boost price seem logical based on these stats.

Arsenal vs West Ham

Arsenal have a good record against this type of opposition at home. There is no value according to the stats however.

Hull vs Middlesbrough

The stats, which are based on longer term records show small value for Middlebrough, but given recent form you couldn’t back them here. There isn’t much on offer here.

Swansea vs Tottenham

Good value for Swansea here. They have been given a 0.75 goal start and this could be useful given Spurs have only won 7 away games on a rolling season basis.

Southampton vs Crystal Palace

All metrics point to some solid value for Palace here. In similar games the away team has won 30% of the time, which is a similar record in the overall stats. Asian Handicap looks the way to go here with a 0.75 goal start. The away team have won 69% of the points in similar encounters.

Liverpool vs Bournemouth

Really interesting to see Bournemouth showing no value despite being priced at almost 10. The home team are virtually undefeated in the 60 game record that we look at. Having said this there is no value for Liverpool either.

Chelsea vs Man City

The game of the round and if Man City can get 3 points here, the final few weeks of the season will be very exciting. The value seems to be with Chelsea however, with home advantage playing a major role. Similar encounters saw the home team win 60% of the time which is odds of 1.7, Chelase are paying 2.52.
