Ladbrokes Race Comments:

Race 4:
SILENT SEDITION First-up after 26 week spell and yet to miss a place first-up. Come down to right distance range and all six wins have come in the dry. Strong claims. BONS AWAY In outstanding form winning four in a row. Likely to race on the speed. Toughest test to date but keeps taking the step up. Hard to hold out. KEEN ARRAY Finished four lengths off the winner last start at Caulfield. Straight track form a query but still a winning chance. LAND OF PLENTY On a six day back-up and drawn ideally. Has placed three times at Flemington including this trip two runs back. Can threaten.

Race 5:
WINX The Champ returns to Melbourne chasing 21 straight wins. Going as well or even better than previously. Just wins HUMIDOR Won or placed in five of last seven including an impressive Makybe Diva win last start. Genuine Group I horse and has a good record this trip. Looks the quinella horse. SIR ISAAC NEWTON Kept working to end up midfield last start at Caulfield and significantly down in weight down in weight. Chance for multiples ASSIGN Needed the run at Caulfield resuming when he led. Yet to miss a place in five second-up runs including three wins. Capable of improving sharply and one for the exotics.

Race 6:
LEATHER’N’LACE Unbeaten in three runs this preparation including an all the way win at Caulfield last start. Has the early speed to overcome an awkward barrier and a winning chance again. ANCHOR BID Covered ground in the run when a beaten favourite in the Oaks Trial. Previous form good enough and gets the blinkers on for the first time. Can bounce back. ANGELIC SPIRIT Winner two of four runs to date finished on the placegetters heels at Caulfield last start. Gets the blinkers on for the first time. Has the speed to overcome the wide gate. Right in this. BRING ME ROSES Has improved at each of her three career starts to date including a close second at Morphettville last start. Should go well and worth including in the wider exotics.

Race 7:
CROCODILE ROCK Import who is yet to miss a place in six Australian starts and runner-up in the JRA Trophy at Flemington last start. Should be nearing his peak fourth-up and gets the chance to go one better. ALMANDIN Last year’s Melbourne Cup winner on right on track again. Excellent both runs this time in including the JRA Cup win last start this track and distance and the one to beat again. TALLY The Mornington Cup winner last preparation. Has now had three runs back from a break and ready to do something. AMELIE’S STAR Made ground late last start at Caulfield and has won up to 2400m. Rates highly with Damian Lane retaining the ride. Should go well.

Race 8:
FRENCH EMOTION Back after 15 week break and trialled at Rosehill. Has won first-up previously and a solid record this trip. Is a winner at the track and distance and hard to beat. EURO ANGEL Outclassed in the Theo Marks and Shannon last two at Rosehill but better placed against her own sex here. Has won at this track and distance previously. Can get the job done. PROMPT RESPONSE Less than a length from the winner in the How Now at Caulfield resuming. Strips fitter second-up and has a solid record this trip. Right in the mix. PETITION Close up at Sandown and Caulfield both runs this time in. A winner of her only starts at the track and distance. Expected to be right up there but will need some luck from the gate.

Race 9:
BURNING FRONT Well beaten in the Bobbie Lewis resuming but this is more suitbale. Will strip fitter and has a solid record at the trip. Conections have found a lovely race and the one to beat. GOOD PROJECT Has struggled in the Theo Marks and Shannon at Rosehill in two runs this preparation. Has won third-up previoulsy and capable of improving sharply with the blinkers on for the first time. ALL OUR ROADS Former Kiwi having first Australian start and both trials okay. Ladbrokes Race Comments:

Race 6:
BEAU GESTE Fought on strongly to make it two wins from three at Rosehill last start. Still scope for improvemnet and a winning chance again SNITZKRAFT Has won three from seven including an Ipswich win last start. Hard to line the form up and looking to betting for a guide. VIRIDINE Unbeaten in three starts and impressive winning the Heritage resuming. Drawn to advantage and the one to beat again CHAUFFEUR Finished strongly to end up midfield last start at Rosehill in the Golden Rose. Tends to settle back and capable of finising strongly. Place hope.

Race 7:
SANCTIONED Placed all three runs this preparation including a Gloaming second last start. Should be at peak and right in the mix again ASTORIA Spring Stakes winner at Newcastle two runs back. Disappointed as favourite in the Gloaming but worth another chance ACE HIGH Controlled the race out in front to win thye Gloaming last start. Likely to adopt similar tactics and a winning chance again SULLY No luck in the Gloaming last start after winning previous two. Worth including in the wider exotics.

Race 8:
DIXIE BLOSSOMS Chased hard when a close second in the Golden Pendent last start. Gets the chance to turn the tables on her stablemate peaking third-up. DAYSEE DOOM Overcame a wide run in transit to win at Rosehill last start. Awkward gate again a genuine query but right in the mix with even luck in running. IMPOSING LASS Placed three of last four and a place hope again DAWN WALL Excellent return at Randwick resuming two runs back and the edge of her last start. Set to bounce back against her own sex

Race 9:
FIRSTHAND Back after 18 week break and winner in three of past seven runs. In good shape from recent trial successes. Likely to race on the speed. Big chance. JUST DREAMING Resumes after spell of 14 weeks and ran in two trials. Won or placed in six of last seven. Should look to roll forward. Serious player. KING DARCI Resumes from a let-up and back in distance. Best form over a touch further but still a place chance. MY COUNTRY Resumes after two trials. Newcastle placed resuming last time in. Twice a winner first-up but the wide gate a genuine concern. Place hope with even luck in running.
