New bookmaker Neds is giving one member the chance to pick a horse to win the Melbourne Cup at a million to one odds.
This competition is not available to residents of SA.
To be eligible you simply have to place a bet with Neds sometime between October 26 and 5 PM AEST on Sunday, November 5th. The qualifying bet does not have to be a racing bet. Bonus bets or matched bets received from other promotional offers are not eligible to be used as a qualifying bet for this competition.
The competition winner will be randomly drawn by electronic means out of the database of entries on Sunday November 5th at 5 PM AEST. The drawing will be supervised by the Ned’s Group Legal Counsel.
The chosen punter will get to make one selection from a field where all runners will be at a million to one odds. If their $1 bet wins they will receive a $1,000,000 payout.
Each account holder/household is be entitled to one entry into the Competition draw, irrespective of how many qualifying bets have been made.
The Melbourne Cup will be run at the Flemington Racecourse on Tuesday, November 7.
What is Neds?
Launched in late 2017, Neds is an Australian-owned bookmaker licensed in the Northern Territory. The founder and managing director is well-known bookmaker Dean Shannon. Shanon is the former chief executive of Ladbrokes Australia and the founder of bookmaker.com.au, which he sold to Ladbrokes in 2013.
