JUKEBOX (6) Not disgraced in Group 1 company last time out. Can get back to winning ways here. CRYSTAL DREAMER (2) Useful enough horse. One to watch and an each way chance. VOODOO LAD (1) Should find this easier than when running in the Stradbroke Handicap last time out. Each way. ASHLOR (4) This race is wide open although this horse consistently runs well. Is in good order and can run well here.

SPEED: 5 may lead with 3,4,8 close-up, 6 handy also. VOODOO LAD is a Group 1 horse, he has had excuses both runs back at that elite level. The last time he was here over 1100m he won well and beat CRYSTAL DREAMER giving him 1.5kg. The weight-for-age scale suits him ideally. JUKEBOX is the fresh blood. He resumes, he is unbeaten fresh and unbeaten over 1100m. Taking a line through Catchy, whom he placed behind in the Danehill Stakes, he measures up to Voodoo Lad. INN KEEPER is a ripper, weight-for-age is a new test and rain would help. ASHLOR won with a massive weight last time and is just so genuine.

JUKEBOX resumes after a 36 week spell and won last at this track, a winning chance. VOODOO LAD has outstanding form at this track and five of 10 wins have come from dry ground, could threaten. INN KEEPER winner of four in a row after last start win at Swan Hill, the real danger in the race. ASHLOR has been running well this campaign winning twice and placing in all other outings, cannot be ruled out.

INVINZABEEL (9) Will relish this track with a record of 11:4-1-1 but draws to do work. Place chance. CHAMOIS ROAD (5) Ran home strongly to win at Flemington last start and shooting for three wins on the trot. In the mix.

Race 7:
2, 5, 13, 16 and 17 the dual acceptors here. Look for FLOW to cross up if he makes his way into this field. 5, 8 and 13 all capable of pressing up if he’s not here. NZer HIFLYER is not really a go-forward sort but might be no worse than a couple of pairs back given his rails draw. I liked what FLOW did in his first black type test and would presume he can maintain the same consistency he showed last preparation. If Patrick Payne wants to send one or both of his pair up (I suspect both is unlikely) I would make sure I am not losing on them. WIDGEE TURF will be off the pace but could be ideally poised around midfield.

Race 7:
DREAMFORCE all seven wins have come in the dry and a winner at first outing this prep, well placed. CHAMOIS ROAD can’t knock the form winning two in a row at Flemington and Morphettville, could threaten. FLOW 3 of four wins have come from dry ground and has the speed to overcome a very wide draw, don’t treat lightly. HIFLYER chased strongly to win last start at Ruakaka on a soft track when resuming and will be happy to get a good track, not without each-way claims.
