Everton vs. Leicester City

Back Everton in the head-to-head at 2.05 (Neds, Unibet)

Everton have gone 9-4-1 as the home favourite over the last 12 months and after a couple of tough fixtures they returned to winning ways with a 5-1 away win over Burnley. Leicester City are a mercurial team and they enter this clash having lost at home to Cardiff City. Leicester have gone 3-1-9 as the away underdog over the last 12 months. Leicester have lost their last two visits to Goodison Park.

Arsenal vs. Fulham

Back Arsenal in the head-to-head at 1.36 (Betstar, Bookmaker, Ladbrokes)

Arsenal’s defeat to Liverpool and Fulham’s win over Huddersfield have seen Arsenal’s head-to-head odds drift out from 1.17 to 1.36, which has created value on backing the hosts. Liverpool and Huddersfield are poles apart and Arsenal’s defeat was away from home while Fulham’s win was at Craven Cottage. Arsenal boast a 13-1-0 record as the home favourite over the last 12 months while Fulham have gone 0-2-8 away from home this campaign.

Back Arsenal -1.5 at 1.99 (bet365)

Looking at the interactive EPL form guide, Fulham have gone 0-0-5 away from home against strong opponents and they lost each of those fixtures by at least 2 goals. Seven of Fulham’s 8 away defeats this season have been by more than a goal, while 12 of Arsenal’s 14 home wins over the last 12 months were by 2+ goals.

Huddersfield vs. Burnley

Back Burnley +0.5 at 1.79 (Betfair)

As bad as Burnley have been this season, they have shown glimpses of promise, while Huddersfield have been consistently poor. The hosts enter this clash on a seven-game losing streak while Burnley have won two of their last five. I’ve opted for Burnley in the Asian handicap rather than the head-to-head because the three previous EPL meetings between the two ended in a stalemate.

Chelsea vs. Southampton

Back Chelsea in the head-to-head at 1.28 (Neds)

Chelsea have won 4 of their last 5 fixtures, which included a win over Man City, and they have won their last six straight against Southampton. After a brief lift in form under new manager Ralph Hasenhüttl, Southampton have returned to losing ways.

Bournemouth vs. Watford

Back Bournemouth +0.5 at 1.52 (Betfair)

Bournemouth are regularly swept aside easily by the big six clubs, but they are much more competitive against the rest of the competition. The host have gone 8-4-0 as the home favourite over the last 12 months while Watford have gone 3-4-10 away from home. The draw is a high possibility, with 5 of the 7 previous EPL meetings between the two resulting in a stalemate.

Newcastle vs. Manchester United

Back Man Utd in the head-to-head at 1.64 (Betfair)

Albeit with an easy run of fixtures, Man Utd continue to perform well under Ole Gunnar Solskjær, with the side winning each of their last three games by 2+ goals, with an aggregate scoreline of 12-3. Looking at the interactive EPL form guide, Newcastle have hosted four tough opponents this season and they lost all four.

Back the 1-2 correct scoreline at 9.00 (bet365)

Newcastle’s home fixtures against Tottenham, Chelsea, Arsenal and Wolves all ended in 2-1 defeats. Three of their last nine matches ended with this scoreline.

Manchester City vs. Liverpool

Back over 2.5 goals at 1.53 (bet365, Betstar, Bookmaker, Ladbrokes)

Seven of the last eight meetings between the two at the City of Manchester Stadium went over 2.5 goals. Two of the last three meetings between the two sides saw 5+ goals scored. Over the last 12 months 15 of Man City’s 18 home fixtures went over 2.5 goals. Nine of Man City’s last 10 games have gone over the total, while the same can be said for 6 of Liverpool’s last 8 games. Man City have scored at least twice in their last 4 games, while Liverpool have scored at least twice in their last 6 fixtures.
