BetEasy – Race Synopsis:

Race 7:
BOBBING (14) got a mile back in the Festival Stakes and still managed to find trouble at the top of the straight. Closed off well late and just hoping he can settle closer to the speed this time around. Well placed at the weights and should prove hard to beat fourth up. QUACKERJACK (5) fought hard only to go down narrowly in the Gong and sets up well off the back of that. Rolls forward from the wide draw and should be in this for a long way. EL DORADO DREAMING (3) comes out of the same race and while up in the weights, she still has to be respected, along with the Festival Stakes winner RANIER (6).

BetEasy – The King’s Tips:

Race 7:
2. Gold Fields (5 stars)
5. Quackerjack (3 stars)
6. Ranier (3 stars)
8. Noble Boy (2 stars)

Sportsbet – Race Comments and Selections:

Race 7:
A fascinating race, as always. First thoughts are that this is quite open but sometimes confidence can form (as if from nowhere!) as races get closer. 2 to lead 5, 1, 10 and 15? QUACKERJACK should be able to get up and over from a double figure draw and he is racing well through what seem to be very respectable races. Beat some handy gallopers at Goulburn then was stoic at Kembla at the mile. Likes the 1600 and he has some Randwick form as well. EL DORADO DREAMING comes through The Gong also. Still just that one win and it was frustrating to see her unable to use the sift draw last time. GOLD FIELDS has blossomed as a 7YO. Wouldn’t surprise!
Selections: 5. Quackerjack, 3. El Dorado Dreaming, 2. Gold Fields, 6. Ranier

Betfair – Race Selections:

Quackerjack (4 stars)
El Dorado Dreaming (4 stars)

Ladbrokes – Race Comments:

Race 7:
QUACKERJACK (5) Left nothing to chance when winning two runs back at Goulburn and ideal distance as proven previously. Rates winning chance. EL DORADO DREAMING (3) Ran on strongly when 3rd two runs back at Rosehill but rises in weight today. Always seems to find the line well. Can have an impact. GOLD FIELDS (2) Fought on gamely when winning last start at Sandown but goes up in weight here. Has plenty of early speed. Can get the job done. RANIER (6) Was fighting out the finish when winning last time at Rosehill but will have to carry extra weight today. Each way.
