Norwich vs. Wolverhampton

Back Wolverhampton +0.5 at 1.32 (Betfair)

Norwich have only won 1 of their last 12 fixtures while Wolverhampton have only lost 1 of their last 12. As with previous Wolves fixtures I have opted for the Asian handicap rather than the head-to-head because they have drawn so many games.

Newcastle vs. Crystal Palace

Back Under 2.5 goals at 1.58 (Unibet)

Both sides are much stronger defensively than they are in front of goal. Newcastle are ranked 18th in the league for goals scored while they have the 8th best defence. Crystal Palace have the 19th best offensive record and the 4th best defensive record. The last five games between the two all went under 2.5 goals, with four of those going under 1.5. Palace’s last four EPL fixtures have gone under the total – helped by the fact that the Eagles only conceded 1 goal during that stretch.

Bournemouth vs. Burnley

Back Burnley +0.5 at 1.65 (bet365)

At the time of writing Bournemouth have an eye-watering 9 players out injured, which goes a long way towards explaining their 1-0-5 form. They did beat Chelsea last week but conceded 18 shots in that fixture whilst scoring with one of their two shots on target. I’m not convinced they’re out of the woods just yet. Over the last 12 months Bournemouth have only won 2 of 9 fixtures when installed as the home favourite. Burnley have been hot and cold this season but some of that can be put down to their own injuries, which have lessened with Ashley Barnes returning last week to continue his productive partnership with Chris Wood. The due have scored 62% of Burnley’s goals in 2019. Burnley have won their last two visits to Dean Court and they did the double over Bournemouth by a combined 7 goals to 1 last season.

Back Burnley to win to nil at 6.10 (Unibet)

Defensively Burnley dominated Newcastle last week, with their opponent failing to record a shot on target. Each of Burnley’s past seven EPL wins have been to nil.

Brighton vs. Sheffield United

Back Sheffield United +0.5 at 1.73 (Betfair)

Brighton have only won 2 of 11 as the home favourite over the last 12 months and they take on a Sheffield United side that is undefeated away from home this season. This record is strongly tied to the fact that the Blades have the 3rd best defensive record in the league.

Back the draw at 3.30 (bet365)

Sheffield have drawn 6 of their 8 away fixtures this season.

Back the 1-1 correct score at 7.00 (bet365)

Three of Sheffield United’s last four away fixtures resulted in 1-1 draws, while Brighton enter this game on the back of a 1-1 draw.

Tottenham vs. Chelsea

Back Tottenham in the head-to-head at 2.40 (Unibet) – BEST BET

Tottenham have gone 12-4-4 at home over the last 12 months while Chelsea have gone 0-1-4 as the away underdog. Tottenham bring 4-0-1 form into this clash while Chelsea have gone 1-0-4. Tottenham have scored 8 goals in their last two home games and they take on a suspect Chelsea defence.
