Everton vs. Liverpool

Back Everton +0.5 at 2.04 (bet365)

Everton have only lost two of their last four EPL home fixtures against Liverpool and this year’s side is the best Everton squad we’ve seen in years. The summer signings, particularly James Rodriguez, have fixed last season’s weaknesses in midfield, which has enabled striker Dominic Calvert-Lewin to flourish with six league goals in four appearances.

Back the draw at 4.20 (bet365)

Seven of the last ten EPL fixtures between the two at Goodison Park have resulted in a draw.

Back Under 3.5 goals at 1.63 (Unibet)
Back Under 2.5 goals at 2.63 (Unibet)

Both teams are very capable of goals but in recent seasons their matches have been low scoring affairs. The fact that Everton could put a six-point gap between themselves and Liverpool with a win will further increase Liverpool’s cautious approach to this fixture. The last six fixtures between the two at Goodison Park have gone under 2.5 goals and the last three fixtures resulted in 0-0 stalemates. Liverpool will likely prioritise a good defensive performance this week following the seven goals conceded against Aston Villa.

Man City vs. Arsenal

Back Over 2.5 goals at 1.41 (Unibet)

Man City’s last seven home games went over 2.5 goals and their last five home games against Arsenal went over 2.5.

Crystal Palace vs. Brighton

Back Brighton +0.5 at 1.48 (bet365)

Spanning this season and the last Crystal Palace bring 2-1-9 form into this clash and they have gone 1-3-8 as the home underdog over the last 12 months. After a positive start to the season, Palace have regressed each week, culminating in their 4-0 defeat to Chelsea prior to the international break. Brighton have had a tough start too but they arguably deserved something from their defeats to Chelsea and Man Utd. The visitors’ offence is firing, having scored 7 goals in the last three games.
