Newcastle vs. Leeds

Over 2.5 goals at 1.66 (bet365)

Both meetings between the two went over 2.5 goals last season. Leeds have defensive headaches at the moment, with Diego Llorente and Robin Koch injured plus Pascal Struijk facing a possible suspension. Over the last 12 months, 14 of Newcastle’s 21 home games went over 2.5 goals and the same can be said for 13 of Leeds’ 20 away games.

Wolves vs. Brentford

Under 2.5 goals at 1.53 (bet365)

Goals might be at a premium here. Wolves striker Jimenez isn’t yet back to his best since returning from injury and the supporting cast has also struggled to find the back of the net. Wolverhampton have scored just 2 goals in their opening four games. Brentford, meanwhile, have scored just one goal in their last three games. All four games for Brentford have gone under 2.5 goals, with two going under 1.5 and one resulting in a 0-0 draw. Similarly, all four games for Wolves thus far have gone under 2.5 goals, with three going under 1.5.

Wolves in the head-to-head at 1.95 (Unibet)

Wolves have started the season 1-0-3 but they have had a tough opening schedule. Their only game against a side that is likely to finish in the bottom half of the table resulted in a 2-0 away win. Brentford haven’t won since Gameweek 1 and the goals have dried up for them.

Man City vs. Southampton

Man City in the head-to-head at 1.14 (Unibet)

Man City have won 9 of their last 10 against Southampton in all competitions and they have won 11 of the last 12 at home against the Saints in all competitions. City have won each of their last three home games by 5-0 scorelines and in their previous meeting in March they defeated Southampton 5-2 at the City of Manchester Stadium. Man City have won their last three games without conceding a goal coming into this fixture, while Southampton are without a win this season.

Liverpool vs. Crystal Palace

Liverpool in the head-to-head at 1.22 (Unibet)

Liverpool have won eight straight against Crystal Palace and the hosts bring 8-1-0 form into this clash, spanning this season and the last. Liverpool won the last three meetings against Palace by a combined 13 goals to nil.

Liverpool -1.5 at 1.63 (bet365)

Nine of Palace’s 11 away defeats over the last 12 months were by 2+ goals.

Norwich vs. Watford

Under 2.5 goals at 1.74 (Unibet)
Watford +0.5 at 1.70 (bet365)
Watford in the head-to-head at 3.50 (bet365)
Norwich 0-1 Watford correct score at 10.00 (BlueBet)

Norwich have only scored gone goal since promotion while Watford haven’t scored in their last three games. Both meetings between the two in the Championship last season resulted in a 1-0 win for Watford. Spanning this campaign and their 2019/20 Premier League campaign, Norwich have lost 14 consecutive games.

Burnley vs. Arsenal

Under 2.5 goals at 1.85 (bet365)

Since Burnley were promoted, five of their six home games against Arsenal went under 2.5 goals. Burnley haven’t scored more than one goal in a game this season while Arsenal have scored just one goal all season and they have yet to score away from home.

Tottenham vs. Chelsea

Chelsea in the head-to-head at 1.80 (BlueBet)

Tottenham’s strong start to the campaign came to an abrupt halt with a listless display in which they lost 3-0 to Crystal Palace. Tottenham’s expected goals stat in that game was just 0.08. They desperately miss Son Heung-min, who remains out with a calf injury that he picked up on international duty. Steven Bergwijn and Ryan Sessegnon also picked up injuries on international duty and Eric Dier was injured against Palace. To compound matters, Cristian Romero, Davinson Sanchez and Giovani Lo Celso have been training in Croatia following their international appearances in red-listed South American countries. It’s touch and go whether they will be available for this clash, but either way, the build up isn’t ideal. These injury and travel absences are compounded by the suspension to Japhet Tanganga. Chelsea, meanwhile, have looked really impressive this season, winning three games by 2+ goals to go with clean sheets and drawing Liverpool at Anfield despite going down to ten at the end of the first half. Chelsea have gone 4-1-0 in their last five games against Tottenham and they won 3 of their last 4 visits to Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, including the last two visits.
