Liverpool vs. Leeds

THIS FIXTURE HAS BEEN POSTPONED DUE TO COVID

Over 3.5 goals at 1.72 (bet365)

Leeds’ injury woes are so great that they had to name academy players on the bench last week. At the time of writing they have ten players unavailable. The key impact of the injury toll is Leeds have become easy to score against. Man City put 7 past them in Gameweek 17 before Arsenal scored four at Elland Road last week. In both games the scoreline could actually have been worse. Leeds’ last four games each went over 3.5 goals as a result of their poor defence and they now take on the top scoring team in the league. Eleven of Liverpool’s last thirteen games went over 3.5 goals. This fixture resulted in a 4-3 scoreline last season.

Wolves vs. Watford

THIS FIXTURE HAS BEEN POSTPONED DUE TO COVID

Wolves in the head-to-head at 1.86 (Picklebet)

Watford can’t stop conceding goals. They’ve lost four games on the trot and conceded at least two goals in each of them. The Hornets have gone 2-0-6 as the away underdog this season. Wolverhampton are a notoriously tough nut to crack, having conceded just two goals in their last seven fixtures – and those were to Liverpool and Man City. Wolves have struggled for goals themselves but Watford’s defensive frailties will present them with ample opportunities.

Tottenham vs. Crystal Palace

Tottenham in the head-to-head at 1.73 (Picklebet)

Tottenham were arguably unlucky not to have beaten Liverpool last week as they continue their strong run under new manager Antonio Conte. Harry Kane has finally broken his goal scoring duck for this Premier League season and Spurs have scored twice in each of their last four games. Crystal Palace have lost their six previous visits to Tottenham and they have gone 2-4-10 as the away underdog over the last 12 months. Spurs boast a 12-1-1 record as the home favourite over the last 12 months.

West Ham vs. Southampton

West Ham in the head-to-head at 1.75 (Picklebet)

Southampton are on a six-game winless run and they have gone 0-3-12 as the away favourite over the last 12 months. West Ham have won seven of their last nine home games against Southampton, including the last four straight by a combined 12 goals to 1.

West Ham 3-0 Southampton correct score at 15.00 (bet365)

Three of Southampton’s last four visits to West Ham resulted in 0-3 defeats, while the fourth resulted in a 1-3 defeat.

Aston Villa vs. Chelsea

Aston Villa +0.5 at 2.200 (bet365)
Aston Villa +0.5 at 1.675 (bet365)
Aston Villa +1.5 at 1.425 (bet365)

Chelsea’s striker and forward absentees have hurt their ability to score, as highlighted by their inability to beat Everton and Wolves. Aston Villa continue to impress under new manager Steven Gerrard. They have gone 4-0-2 under his management, with the two defeats coming by one-goal margins to Man City and Liverpool.

Newcastle vs. Man Utd

Man Utd in the head-to-head at 1.47 (Picklebet)

Man Utd haven’t yet impressed under their new manager, yet they are on a three-game winning streak. Newcastle are in the midst of a torrid run win in which they have lost three games by a combined 11 goals to 1. Man Utd have won four straight against Newcastle. One of those wins was by 2-goal margins while the other three were by 3-goal margins.

Newcastle 1-4 Man Utd correct score at 21.00 (bet365)

Three of Man Utd’s last four wins over Newcastle were by 4-1 scorelines.
