For the 2022/23 BBL season Picklebet is offering ‘6 Or Out’ markets that pay out at 3.00 odds if there is a six or a wicket in the first over. There are two markets per game, one for each inning.
So far the markets have paid out on three of the first six innings this season:
Game 1:
Melbourne Stars innings – no win
Sydney Thunder innings – WIN – wickets on the 2nd and 3rd deliveries
Game 2:
Adelaide Strikers innings – WIN – wicket on the 4th delivery
Sydney Sixers innings – no win
Game 3:
Melbourne Renegades innings – no win
Brisbane Heat innings – WIN – wicket on the 5th delivery
Obviously it’s early days, but the 3.00 first over market is worth a look if this keeps up. There is currently no stake limit on this market.
It’s interesting to note that all three wins have been due to wickets rather than sixes.
