Man City vs. Brentford

Brentford/Tottenham HT/FT at 27.00 (BoomBet)

I’ll start the first week back from the FIFA World Cup with a higher odds selection. In just 15 games this season, Tottenham have won a league-high 13 points from losing positions. Their opponents scored first in 9 out of those 15 games and Tottenham scored the last goal in 11 of those fixtures. The opponent/Tottenham HT/FT selection has already won twice this season. A condition for this bet to work is that both teams score. Brentford have seen both teams score in each of their last three games, while the same can be said for each of Tottenham’s last four fixtures.

Southampton vs. Brighton

Brighton +0.5 at 1.33 (bet365)

Southampton have the worst home record (1-3-3) in the league this season. The Saints won just one of their last ten games (1-2-7) leading up to the break. None of the previous ten Premier League meetings between Southampton and Brighton were won by the home team. Brighton have an unbeaten 1-4-0 record at St Mary’s Stadium since promotion. Southampton have gone 2-4-4 as the home underdog over the last twelve months and they were beaten the last time they were installed as the home underdog against Brighton.

Crystal Palace vs. Fulham

Crystal Palace in the head-to-head at 2.01 (BoomBet)

Crystal Palace have won three consecutive home games and they boast a 6-3-0 record as the home favourite over the last twelve months. Fulham have gone 1-1-4 as the home underdog this season.

Arsenal vs. West Ham

Arsenal in the head-to-head at 1.52 (Moneyball)

Arsenal have gone 12-1-1 as the home favourite over the last twelve months while West Ham have gone 1-0-8 as the away underdog. Arsenal have gone 11-0-1 in their last twelve home league meetings against West Ham. Arsenal went 7-1-0 leading up to the World Cup and they conceded just one goal in their last five games. West Ham enter this game on a three-game losing streak.

Man Utd vs. Nottingham Forest

Both Teams To Score: No at 1.77 (BoomBet)
Man Utd to win to nil at 2.14 (BoomBet)

Nottingham Forest have gone 0-2-5 away from home this season and all five defeats were to nil. Including their two draws, Forest have scored just one goal in seven away games this season. Manchester United have gone 4-1-1 at home this campaign. They won their last two home games to nil and have kept three consecutive clean sheets at home.

Leeds vs. Man City

Both Teams To Score: No at 2.09 (BoomBet)
Man City to win to nil at 2.48 (BoomBet)

Leeds have gone 1-0-6 as the home underdog over the last twelve months. Six of Leeds’ eight home defeats over the last twelve months were to nil while eight of Manchester City’s ten away wins were to nil. City completed the double over Leeds last season with a 7-0 win at home and a 4-0 win at Elland Road.
