Crystal Palace vs. Manchester United

[This match is part of Gameweek 20 for fantasy football purposes]

Man Utd in the head-to-head at 1.80 (BlueBet)

Crystal Palace bring 1-0-4 form into this game while Manchester United have gone 5-0-0. Crystal Palace failed to score in all four of those defeats. Man Utd have only conceded one goal in their last four games and that was against Man City. Crystal Palace have gone 2-1-5 as the home underdog over the last twelve months and 1-2-6 at home against Man Utd since promotion.

West Ham vs. Everton

Under 2.5 goals at 1.80 (bet365)

The losing manager of this fixture could find themselves out of a job, so we might see an abundance of caution from both clubs. West Ham and Everton have both been goal-shy in recent months. West Ham have only scored twice in one of their last seven games and Everton have only scored twice in one of their last eleven fixtures. Seven of the last eight league meetings between the two went under 2.5 goals.

Southampton vs. Aston Villa

Aston Villa in the head-to-head at 2.50 (BlueBet)
Aston Villa +0.5 at 1.43 (bet365)

Southampton have the league-worst 1-3-5 home record this season and they bring 1-0-7 form into this clash. Aston Villa look improved under new manager Unai Emery and bring 4-1-1 form into this game.

Leicester City vs. Brighton

Brighton in the head-to-head at 2.05 (bet365)
Brighton +0.5 at 1.30 (bet365)

Leicester City have lost four straight games and they only managed to score one goal across those fixtures. The Foxes have gone 0-2-3 as the home underdog over the last twelve months. Brighton continue to impress under new manager Roberto de Zerbi. The Seagulls bring 5-0-2 form into this game and they have won three consecutive away fixtures. Four of their last five wins were by 2+ goal margins and three were by 3-goal margins. Brighton have gone 4-0-2 as the away favourite over the last twelve months and they defeated Leicester city 5-2 in September.

Crystal Palace vs. Newcastle

[Palace’s game against United has not been played at the time of writing]

Newcastle in the head-to-head at 1.90 (bet365)
Newcastle to win to nil at 3.05 (BoomBet)

Crystal Palace will be backing up after hosting Manchester United midweek while Newcastle won’t have played since last weekend. The Eagles bring 1-0-4 form into this game and they failed to score in all four of those defeats. Crystal Palace have gone 2-1-5 as the home underdog over the last twelve months. Newcastle, on the other hand, bring 9-3-0 form into this clash. They have gone 4-0-0 as the away favourite over the last twelve months and 6-2-1 as the favourite since the Eagles were promoted back into the Premier League in 2013. Newcastle have kept five consecutive clean sheets coming into this game and four of Crystal Palace’s six home defeats over the last twelve months were to nil.

Leeds vs. Brentford

Over 2.5 goals at 1.72 (bet365)
Over 3.5 goals at 2.75 (bet365)

Seven of Leeds’ last eight games went over 2.5 goals and five went over 3.5 goals. Four of Brentford’s last six games went over 2.5 goals and three went over 3.5 goals. Since Brentford and Leeds were promoted all three fixtures between them went over 2.5 goals, two went over 3.5 and their last meeting in September saw seven total goals.

Brentford +0.5 at 1.58 (bet365)

Leeds are winless in their last five games and Brentford are unbeaten in their last seven games.
