Collingwood

Collingwood vs. Carlton

Carlton

Both teams bring excellent form into this clash, but I will side with Collingwood because they have fewer injury headaches than Carlton at the moment. The Pies have won fifteen straight games as the home side and they boast a 9-1 record at the MCG this season, compared to 2-1-3 for the Blues. I expect that Carlton will be competitive, however. They have covered the line in six of their last seven games as the away side against Collingwood. Over the last twelve months, 11 of Carlton’s 12 defeats were by 1-39 points, while 15 of Collingwood’s 20 wins were by the same margin. Six of Collingwood’s last 7 home wins over Carlton were by 1-39 points and 5 of those 7 wins were by 1-24 margins. I would back Collingwood in the head-to-head at 1.36 (Bet Right). Those looking for more risk should back Collingwood 1-39 at 2.10 (Dabble).

Geelong

Geelong vs. Fremantle

Fremantle

Geelong have gone 13-2 in the head-to-head and 12-3 at the line at GMHBA Stadium since 2022. Fremantle won their last visit to GMHBA Stadium but they bring poor 1-6 form into this clash. Over the last twelve months, 11 of Geelong’s 13 home wins were by 25+ margins, while 5 of Fremantle’s 7 away defeats were by 25+. Coming into this clash, Fremantle have lost four in a row and their last five defeats were by 25+ margins. I would back Geelong 25+ at 1.33 (Dabble).

Gold Coast

Gold Coast vs. Brisbane

Brisbane

Brisbane haven’t been great travellers this season, but they do have a strong record away against Gold Coast, who limp into this fixture in 1-4 form. The Lions have won 9 straight against the Suns, including their last 5 games as the away side. Brisbane have won 6 of their last 8 games as the away favourite against Gold Coast. I would back Brisbane in the head-to-head at 1.31 (bet365).
