Man Utd

Man Utd vs. Brighton

Brighton

Over 2.5 goals at 1.50 (bet365)

Manchester United have won eight home games in a row, spanning this season and the last, but they haven’t looked convincing in their narrow wins over Wolves and Nottingham Forest to start the season. I will instead focus on the total score. Brighton’s last seven away games have gone over 2.5 goals and their last four games (both home and away) have gone over 3.5. Eight of Brighton’s last ten games against Manchester United went over 2.5 goals. Man Utd’s last two games saw over 3.5 goals and their last home game saw 5 total goals.

Tottenham

Tottenham vs. Sheffield United

Sheffield United

Tottenham in the head-to-head at 1.32 (Betfair)

Tottenham have enjoyed a strong start to the season under Ange Postecoglou. They have scored 2+ goals in all four games this season and they have won their last three games by 2+ goal margins. Sheffield United have made a 0-1-3 start to the season, despite the fact that three of their opening four games were at home. The Blades have yet to lose by a 2+ goal margin this season, so I will stay clear of the -1.5 Asian Handicap selection and instead take Tottenham in the head-to-head.

Fulham

Fulham vs. Luton Town

Luton Town

Fulham in the head-to-head at 1.72 (Betfair)

This is primarily a bet against Luton Town, who have lost their opening two away games by 3-goal margins.

Over 2.5 goals at 1.92 (bet365)

Spanning this season and the last, Fulham’s last five home games have gone over 2.5 goals. All three of Luton’s fixtures this season have gone over 2.5 goals.

Aston Villa

Aston Villa vs. Crystal Palace

Crystal Palace

Aston Villa in the head-to-head at 1.98 (Betfair)

Aston Villa have won eight in a row at home and they have gone 9-1-1 as the home favourite over the last twelve months. Crystal Palace have gone 2-4-8 as the away underdog over the last twelve months and they remain without the injured Michael Olise. Palace have only scored one goal across their last six visits to Villa Park.

Nottingham Forest

Nottingham Forest vs. Burnley

Burnley

Nottingham Forest in the head-to-head at 2.28 (Betfair)

Nottingham Forest have won four in a row at home, spanning this season and the last. Over the last twelve months they have gone 3-1-0 as the home favourite. Burnley have made a 0-3 start to the season. They conceded 11 total goals across those games.
