Wolves

Wolves vs. Burnley

Burnley

Wolves in the head-to-head at 1.93 (Betfair)

This is primarily a bet against Burnley. The Clarets have gone 1-1-4 away from home this season and 0-1-11 as the underdog this campaign. They thrashed the fellow-promoted Sheffield United over the weekend, but prior to that they had lost six consecutive games. During that run they conceded 2+ goals in every game and 3+ goals in three of those six fixtures. Wolverhampton have been poor on the road but strong at home. Their last four home fixtures were against tough sides but they came through with a respectable two wins and two draws:
Wolves 2-1 Tottenham
Wolves 2-2 Newcastle
Wolves 1-1 Aston Villa
Wolves 2-1 Man City

Fulham

Fulham vs. Nottingham Forest

Nottingham Forest

Fulham in the head-to-head at 2.12 (Betfair)

This is primarily a bet against Nottingham Forest. The Reds have gone 0-4-6 in the last 10 top-flight matches without the injured Taiwo Awoniyi. Forest have lost three games in a row and they have gone 2-3-13 as the away underdog over the last twelve months. Fulham, meanwhile, have gone 7-2-0 as the home favourite over the same period. The Cottagers completed the double over Forest last season. Fulham won this clash 2-0 last December.

Aston Villa

Aston Villa vs. Man City

Man City

Both teams to score: Yes at 1.55 (Betfair)

Both teams scored in each of the last five meetings between these two sides. The same can be said for seven of Aston Villa’s last eight games and nine of Man City’s last twelve games, including the last four.

Tottenham

Tottenham vs. West Ham

West Ham

Tottenham in the head-to-head at 1.86 (Betfair)

Like most teams in the league at the moment, both sides limp into this fixture carrying numerous injuries. I will side with Tottenham to get back to winning ways. This is primarily based on the fact that West Ham have gone 1-1-11 as the away underdog over the last twelve months. Tottenham have gone 3-1-0 in their last four home games against the Hammers and Spurs scored 2+ goals in all four of those games.
