Everton

Everton vs. Tottenham

Tottenham

Tottenham +0.5 at 1.48 (Betfair)

Everton haven’t scored in three consecutive games, while Tottenham have scored 2+ goals in seven consecutive fixtures. Tottenham’s last four visits to Goodison Park have resulted in a draw and they only beat Everton by a solitary goal at home in December, so I have opted for them in the Asian Handicap rather than the head-to-head. The +0.5 selection on Tottenham would have won in ten of their last thirteen away games against Everton. It also would have won in eight of their eleven games as the away favourite over the last twelve months.

Newcastle

Newcastle vs. Luton

Luton

Over 2.5 goals at 1.61 (Betfair)

Newcastle’s last four games went over 3.5 goals and two of those went over 4.5. Three of Luton’s last four games went over 3.5 goals and two of those went over 4.5. Seven of Luton’s ten away games this season went over 2.5 goals.

Brighton

Brighton vs. Crystal Palace

Crystal Palace

Brighton +0.5 at 1.21 (Betfair)
Draw at 4.30 (Unibet)

Brighton have lost just one home game this season (5-5-1). Crystal Palace are still nursing Michael Olise back from injury and Eberechi Eze had to leave the field early midweek too. Palace are winless in their last five away games and Brighton are unbeaten in their last five games against Palace. Four of the last five meetings between the two resulted in a draw.

Under 2.5 goals at 2.18 (Betfair)

Brighton haven’t scored in three games and the last five games between these two fierce rivals went under 2.5 goals. Roy Hodgson’s focus will be on not losing, so this might not be a great game for the neutral.

1-1 correct score at 8.80 (Betfair)

Six of the last nine games between the two resulted in a 1-1 draw. This includes four of the last five meetings.

Man Utd

Man Utd vs. West Ham

West Ham

Man Utd in the head-to-head at 1.75 (bet365)

Manchester United have gone 12-3-3 as the home favourite over the last twelve months and they have gone 9-3-0 in their last twelve EPL home games against West Ham. The Hammers have gone 3-0-10 as the away underdog over the last twelve months.

1-0 correct score at 10.50 (Betfair)

The last three league meetings between these two at Old Trafford resulted in a 1-0 win for United.

Bournemouth

Bournemouth vs. Nottm Forest

Nottm Forest

Over 2.5 goals at 1.70 (Unibet)

Bournemouth’s last five games went over 2.5 goals and three of their last four went over 3.5 goals. Similarly, Nottingham Forest’s last five games went over 2.5 goals and three of those went over 3.5. Two of the three previous EPL meetings between Bournemouth and Nottingham Forest went over 4.5 goals.

Arsenal

Arsenal vs. Liverpool

Liverpool

Over 2.5 goals at 1.70 (Unibet)

Both Arsenal and Liverpool’s last three games went over 2.5 goals. Arsenal have only kept one clean sheet in their last five games while Liverpool have scored four goals in each of their last three fixtures. Eight of the last ten league meetings between Arsenal and Liverpool went over 2.5 goals and two of the last three meetings went over 3.5 goals. Their most recent meeting at Emirates Stadium saw five total goals. Over the last twelve months 17 of Arsenal’s 21 home games went over 2.5 goals.
