Newcastle

Newcastle vs. Crystal Palace

Crystal Palace

Note that this fixture is part of Gameweek 32. Both teams will play again this weekend. Palace actually have two Gameweek 33 fixtures.

Newcastle in the head-to-head at 1.70 (Dabble)

Newcastle have won five games in a row in all competitions. They remain locked in a tense battle for a Champions League spot, so they have no reason to let up in the league. Crystal Palace have had a good run of results, but their recent away games have been against weaker opposition than this. They faced their first tough away fixture in a while on the weekend when they were crushed 5-2 by Man Utd. Palace have an unhappy 1-2-6 record at St James’ Park since promotion and Newcastle boast a 9-1-4 record as the home favourite over the last twelve months. Newcastle won this fixture 4-0 last season.

West Ham

West Ham vs. Southampton

Southampton

West Ham in the head-to-head at 1.57 (Betfair)

Surely this is the game that gets West Ham back to winning ways. They were unlucky to have lost to Liverpool last week and they scored twice against Bournemouth in the round before that, but this is primarily a bet against Southampton. The Saints have gone 1-2-13 away from home this season. In recent years they have a 1-0-5 record as the away underdog against West Ham.

Man Utd

Man Utd vs. Wolves

Wolves

Wolves in the head-to-head at 3.80 (betr)
Wolves +0.5 at 1.88 (bet365)

This is the last of a flurry of fixtures for Man Utd due to their involvement in the Europa Cup quarter-finals. United have a defeat-heavy 7-1-5 record as the home favourite over the last twelve months and they’re hosting a Wolves side that has won four on the trot. Reputation is playing a role in the odds, given only three points separate the two on the table.

Fulham

Fulham vs. Chelsea

Chelsea

Fulham in the head-to-head at 2.96 (Betfair)
Fulham +0.5 at 1.65 (Betfair)

Fulham have a golden opportunity to complete a rare league double over their local rivals Chelsea. The visitors will be backing up following their midweek Europa Conference League fixture. Fulham won their previous two home fixtures against Tottenham and Liverpool, while Chelsea haven’t won away in the league since early December (0-3-5 form).

Leicester

Leicester vs. Liverpool

Liverpool

Liverpool in the head-to-head at 1.25 (bet365)
Liverpool -1.5 at 1.67 (bet365)

Leicester City became the first team in English football history to lose eight home league games in a row without scoring. All eight defeats were by 2+ goal margins and their last three home defeats were by 3+ margins. They now host a Liverpool side that is within touching distance of a Premier League title. Eight of Liverpool’s eleven away wins over the last twelve months were by 2+ goal margins.

Arsenal

Arsenal vs. Crystal Palace

Crystal Palace

Arsenal in the head-to-head at 1.50 (bet365)

Arsenal have won five in a row against Crystal Palace. They won their last two home fixtures over the Eagles at Emirates Stadium by 4-1 and 5-0 margins. Arsenal defeated Crystal Palace by a 5-1 margin at Selhurst Park in December. It’s a case of “can we play you every week?”
