Super Rugby Pacific – Round 15 Betting Tips

The following are betting tips for selected fixtures in Round 15 of the 2025 Super Rugby Pacific season.

This is the penultimate round of the regular season. There are only four fixtures due to three sides having a bye week.

To take advantage of the odds before they possibly shorten, these previews are published before the team sheets are announced. Those who are more risk-averse should wait for the squad lists before wagering.

Crusaders

Crusaders vs. Highlanders

Highlanders

The Highlanders’ season is all but mathematically over. The Crusaders, meanwhile, are still in a three-way battle for the crucial first seed. The Highlanders have lost eight of their last nine fixtures. The Crusaders have won 10 of their last 12 against the Highlanders and they beat their southern neighbours by a 33-point margin in Dunedin earlier this season. The Highlanders have gone 0-7 as the away underdog over the last twelve months. There are no clear trends at the line or the winning margins markets, so I will simply back the Crusaders in the head-to-head at 1.16 (PlayUp). This selection is as low as 1.11 with other bookmakers at the time of writing.

Chiefs

Chiefs vs. Moana Pasifika

Moana Pasifika

Moana Pasifika bring a three-game winning streak into this clash, but they have a 0-6 record in the head-to-head and a 1-5 record at the line against the Chiefs. All six of those Chiefs wins were by 13+ margins. The Chiefs have gone 7-0 in the head-to-head and 6-1 at the line at home over the last twelve months. Ten of the Chiefs’ eleven wins over the last twelve months were by 8+ margins, while three of Moana Pasifika’s four away defeats were by 13+. I would back the Chiefs in the head-to-head at 1.16 (PlayUp). Those looking for more risk should consider the Chiefs -7.5 at 1.45 (bet365).

Force

Force vs. Waratahs

Waratahs

Both teams bring four-game losing streaks into this clash and both sides can make excuses due to those fixtures featuring tough opponents. I will side with the Force this week due to the venue. The Perth side has gone 3-0 as the home favourite over the last twelve months and due to their bye next week, this is their final fixture of the season. The Waratahs, meanwhile, have gone 0-6 – both in the head-to-head and the line – away from home over the same period. The Force won this clash 27-7 last season. I would back the Force in the head-to-head at 1.77 (PlayUp). This selection is as low as 1.62 with other bookmakers at the time of writing.
