Draftstars have a $50,000 fantasy sports contest for the St Kilda v Western Bulldogs clash on Thursday night. Entry costs $15 and the top 25% of participants will receive a payout.

St Kilda

St Kilda vs. Western Bulldogs

Western Bulldogs

The Western Bulldogs have been flat-track bullies this season. They have gone 1-6 against teams above them and 5-0 against teams below them this year. They have won four of their last five against St Kilda and their last two wins over the Saints were by 124-64 (April 2024) and 127-56 (April 2025) scorelines. This game will be played at Marvel Stadium, where the Bulldogs have gone 4-1 this season, compared to 3-3 for St Kilda. I would back the Western Bulldogs in the head-to-head at 1.34 (PlayUp).

Brisbane

Brisbane vs. GWS

GWS

Brisbane are averaging just 153.7 total points per game at home this season, which is the lowest figure in the league. This has seen five of their six home fixtures go under the total. Looking back further, ten of Brisbane’s twelve home games over the last twelve months went under the total. GWS are averaging just 161.0 points per game away from home, which is the 5th lowest figure in the league. I would back Under 178.5 at 1.50 (bet365).

Essendon

Essendon vs. Geelong

Geelong

Essendon have gone 1-4, both in the head-to-head and the line, at the MCG this season. The Bombers have lost seven consecutive games to the Cats and Geelong covered the line in all seven of those wins. Essendon bring 1-3 form into this game, compared to 4-0 for Geelong. I would back Geelong in the head-to-head at 1.20 (Dabble).

North Melbourne

North Melbourne vs. Fremantle

Fremantle

This ‘home’ game for North Melbourne is being played at Optus Stadium in Perth. The Kangaroos defeated West Coast last week, but they have a 0-5 record on the back of a win over the last twelve months. In recent years, Fremantle have gone 10-2 as the favourite against North Melbourne. If you treat this as an away game, North Melbourne have gone 0-9 as the away underdog over the last twelve months. I would back Fremantle in the head-to-head at 1.16 (PlayUp).

West Coast

West Coast vs. Carlton

Carlton

West Coast are 1-11 for the season. They lost and failed to cover the line in their last five clashes against Carlton. Six of West Coast’s eight home defeats over the last twelve months were by 25+ margins and four of their last five home defeats to Carlton were by 25+. Three of Carlton’s four away wins over the last twelve months were by 25+. I would back Carlton in the head-to-head at 1.26 (Dabble).
