Arsenal

Arsenal vs. Nottm Forest

Nottm Forest

Draw at 5.00 (bet365)
Arsenal draw no bet at 1.14 (bet365)
Arsenal +0.5 at 1.11 (bet365)

Arsenal are the rightful favourite, but the value lies with the draw. There’s a chance Saliba, Nørgaard and White won’t play, while Saka Havertz and Jesus are unavailable. Arsenal lost last round and over the last twelve months they have gone 0-4-0 on the back of a defeat. Arsenal have gone 11-5-2 at home over the last twelve months. This equates to a 27.8% draw frequency for 3.60 equivalent fair odds. Nottingham Forest have gone 5-4-6 as the away underdog over the last twelve months. This equates to a 26.7% draw frequency for 3.75 equivalent fair odds. Forest have a 0-0-3 record at Emirates Stadium since promotion and they continue to have off-field dramas over managerial uncertainty, so I wouldn’t put off anyone who fancies Arsenal draw no bet or in the +0.5 Asian Handicap.

Everton

Everton vs. Aston Villa

Aston Villa

Everton in the head-to-head at 2.56 (Betfair)
Everton +0.5 at 1.46 (Betfair)

Spanning this season and the last, Everton bring 5-0-1 form into this game. Jack Grealish has proven to be a good addition as he has contributed two assists in each of his two starts for Everton. Both of his starts resulted in Everton wins. The Toffees have gone 4-5-1 as the home favourite over the last twelve months and they defeated a dangerous Brighton side 2-0 in their first Premier League fixture at Hill Dickinson Stadium. Aston Villa have yet to score this season. They enter this game on the back of defeats to Brentford and Crystal Palace. For both of those teams, their only win of the season has been over Villa. The +0.5 Asian Handicap for Everton holds appeal. Looking back at older head-to-head results, the Toffees have avoided defeat in eight of the last ten games as the home favourite against Villa. This equates to fair odds of 1.25.

Brentford

Brentford vs. Chelsea

Chelsea

Chelsea in the head-to-head at 1.83 (Betfair)

Yoane Wissa has now formally left Brentford. He joins Bryan Mbeumo, ex-captain Christian Norgaard and manager Thomas Frank as key figures who have departed since last season. They now take on Chelsea, who have strengthened during the summer. The Blues bring 7-1-1 form into this game, spanning this season and the last. Chelsea have conceded just one goal in three games this campaign. If you want a small saver bet on top of the head-to-head wager, the 0-0 correct score at 15.00 (Betfair) isn’t an impossible result. Chelsea’s last three visits to Gtech Community Stadium resulted in a draw and two of those were by 0-0 scorelines. Chelsea have already had one 0-0 result this season.

Burnley

Burnley vs. Liverpool

Liverpool

Liverpool in the head-to-head at 1.36 (Betfair)

Burnley have conceded three goals in two of their opening fixtures this season. Liverpool have made a 3-0-0 start to the campaign with eight goals scored, and they won their last six visits to Turf Moor.
