Man City vs. Wolves |
Â
Wolves +2.5 at 1.55 (bet365)
This fixture is sandwiched between two UEFA Champions League fixtures for Man City, while Wolves have no midweek commitments. City are winless in four Premier League games while Wolves are unbeaten in four. Wolverhampton’s last three away defeats were all by 1-goal margins (against Aston Villa, Liverpool and Arsenal).
Under 2.5 at 3.20 (bet365)
Man City’s last four games went under 2.5 goals, while Wolves have conceded just two goals across their last four games. This fixture ended 1-0 last season.
Fulham vs. Brighton |
Â
Fulham +0.5 at 1.52 (Betfair)
Brighton have won just one of their last nine EPL fixtures. They have a 0-0-3 record as the away underdog against Fulham in the Premier League. Fulham have lost just one of their last seven EPL fixtures. The Cottagers have gone 10-0-4 as the bookmaker’s favourite over the last twelve months, while the Seagulls have gone 1-3-6 as the away underdog.
Crystal Palace vs. Chelsea |
Â
Chelsea in the head-to-head at 2.08 (Betfair)
Chelsea +0 (draw no bet) at 1.55 (Betfair)
Chelsea +0.5 (half ball) at 1.36 (Betfair)
I’ve done well by betting against the beleaguered Crystal Palace each week and with their captain now departed I see no reason to stop. The Eagles’ small squad has struggled badly with their added European commitments this season. They currently have the most injuries of any Premier League team, with up to 10 players out. Palace have made just 22 changes to their starting XI this season, which is nine fewer than any other team. Chelsea, meanwhile, are enjoying a new manager bounce under Liam Rosenior. The Blues boast a 9-1-2 record at Selhurst Park since the Eagles were promoted. Palace have won just twice at home this season (2-5-3).
Brentford vs. Nottm Forest |
Â
Brentford in the head-to-head at 2.05 (BetEstate)
Brentford +0 (draw no bet) at 1.49 (Betfair)
Brentford +0.5 (half ball) at 1.31 (Betfair)
This fixture is sandwiched between two Europa League midweek fixtures for Nottingham Forest, while Brentford have no midweek commitments. Brentford have gone 7-2-1 at home this season while Nottingham Forest have gone 3-2-6 away. Forest have gone 2-2-9 as the away underdog over the last twelve months. The Bees suffered a defeat to Chelsea last week, but they boast a 8-4-1 record on the back of a loss over the last twelve months.
