Arsenal vs. Liverpool

Back over 2.5 goals at 1.58 (Betfair)
Back over 3.5 goals at 2.10 (Pinnacle)

Seven of the last eight games between Arsenal and Liverpool have gone over 3.5 goals, with four going over 4.5 goals. Liverpool seem happier on the road than at home because away from Anfield their opposition has a go at them, which gives Liverpool scoring chances. Liverpool’s last four away fixtures have seen them score 4, 3, 5 and 4 goals, respectively. This recent trend is nothing new. Twelve of Liverpool’s last eighteen away fixtures have gone over 2.5 goals.

Everton vs. Chelsea

Back Chelsea in the head-to-head at 1.675 (Pinnacle)

Games at Goodison Park have a strong record of going according to bookmakers’ expectations. While Everton have gone 14-0-1 as the home favourite over the last 12 months, they’ve gone 1-0-3 as the home underdog. While Everton are on a strong run, it hasn’t been the toughest of schedules and both Newcastle and Swansea caused them problems before they went on to win. Chelsea boast a 11-1-3 record as the away favourite over the last 12 months and have won their last three fixtures against Everton without conceding a goal. The last three meetings between the two have seen Chelsea outscore Everton 10 goals to nil.

Manchester City vs. Bournemouth

Back Man City to win to nil at 1.95 (Mad Bookie)

Man City enter this match on a 16-game EPL winning streak and have scored at least two goals in each of their last 11 EPL fixtures. They had to play in the League Cup on Tuesday but still should be too strong for Bournemouth, who have struggled badly against the top sides and enter this fixture on a 6-game winless streak. Bookmakers are expecting a high scoring massacre so there isn’t much value in backing the overs or taking Manchester City in the Asian Handicap. Bournemouth’s last four fixtures against top sides (Tottenham, Chelsea, Man Utd & Liverpool) all saw them lose without scoring a goal. Man City won all five previous meetings against Bournemouth and kept a clean sheet in three of them.

West Ham vs. Newcastle

Back West Ham in the head-to-head at 2.25 (Sportsbet)

West Ham are worth backing at anything over 2.00 odds. They have a 4-1-2 record as the home favourite and the last five EPL fixtures between the two were won by the home side. West Ham enter this fixture having won two of their last three games, keeping clean sheets in all of them – and that included fixtures against Arsenal and Chelsea. Newcastle are in free fall at the moment with the worst form in the league. They have lost their last four games and have gone 0-1-8 in their last nine fixtures.

Stoke City vs. West Brom

Back under 2.5 goals at 1.645 (Pinnacle)

With both sides desperate for points I expect this to be a tight, nervy affair. Six of the last seven fixtures between the two went under 2.5 goals.

Leicester City vs. Manchester United

Back Manchester United in the head-to-head at 1.84 (Pinnacle)

Leicester City have gone 2-0-6 as the home underdog over the last 12 months and they have lost their last three against Man Utd by a combined score of 9 goals to 1. They limp into this fixture on the back of a 0-3 home defeat to Crystal Palace. Manchester United boast a 9-2-1 record as the away favourite over the last 12 months. Both sides were involved in the League Cup midweek, which favours Man Utd due to their superior squad depth.
