Brighton vs. Bournemouth

Back under 2.5 goals at 1.568 (Pinnacle)

Brighton’s campaign has stalled in recent weeks, primarily due to their goal scoring drought. The Seagulls have only scored 1 goal in their last 6 games. Their defence has kept them in the games, however, with 3 of their last 4 opponents failing to score. Seven of Brighton’s last 8 games have gone under 2.5 goals and 7 of Brighton’s 10 home games this season have gone under 2.5.

Back the draw at 3.20 (bet365)

Brighton have a good record of avoiding defeat at home, with only Liverpool and Manchester City coming away from Amex Stadium with 3 points this season. Brighton have dropped plenty of points at home, however, with 5 of their 10 home fixtures resulting in a draw. Had you placed $1 on the draw in each of Brighton’s home games you would be up $5.67. Bournemouth have struggled against the top six seven sides however they are undefeated in their last 4 away fixtures against teams in the second half of the table, drawing 2 of those. Bournemouth have a strong track record of securing away draws. They’ve gone 3-6-10 on the road over the last 12 months and if you had placed $1 on the draw in each of those fixtures you would be up $8.37.

Swansea vs. Tottenham

Back over 2.5 goals at 1.826 (Pinnacle)

Tottenham come into this fixture with strong motivation to score goals. Striker Harry Kane, if he can shrug of his cold, could become the first player in 71 years to score a hat-trick in three successive EPL fixtures after he achieved the feat against Burnley and Southampton. This is as good a fixture as any to attempt it. Five of Tottenham’s last six away fixtures against weaker sides have gone over 2.5 goals and Tottenham’s last five visits to Swansea all resulted in over 2.5 goals scored. Swansea’s last two fixtures against top-six sides resulted in a 4-0 defeat to Man City and a 5-0 defeat to Liverpool.

West Ham vs. West Brom

Back the draw at 3.41 (Pinnacle)

West Brom haven’t won in 20 EPL fixtures but they’ve been picking up plenty of draws along the way. If you had placed $1 on West Brom to draw every away game over the last 12 months you would be up $13.86. West Brom have drawn 5 of their last 6 away fixtures against West Ham.

Southampton vs. Crystal Palace

Back Crystal Palace +0.5 at 1.909 (Pinnacle)

Southampton have a perfect 4-0 home record against Crystal Palace since the Eagles were promoted back into the Premier League, but they’ll struggle to make it 5 wins on the trot. Palace enter this fixture having only lost 1 of their last 10 EPL fixtures, while Southampton have gone 8 games without a win.

Manchester City vs. Watford

Back Man City to win to nil at 2.04 (Unibet)

Watford will rue the fact that Crystal Palace held Man City to a 0-0 draw because they know they’ll be up against a focused City side. This might not be the hammering that people are expecting, however, with City picking up injuries to Gabriel Jesus and Kevin de Bruyne. Nevertheless I expect City to win this fixture to nil, which is something they’ve done in 4 of their 5 meetings against Watford. The last three clashes between the two have seen Man City win by a combined 13 goals to nil.
