Updated Matchbook Review

An updated review of the betting exchange Matchbook is now available. The review has been updated to reflect the brand new betting interface and 0% commissions promotion on football markets.

This comprehensive review is part of a series on betting agencies that are suitable for Australians. All reviews form part of the Bookmaker Reviews section on this website.

In summary, since its interface overhaul, Matchbook is much stronger than when we first reviewed it, however it still lags behind Betfair in terms of liquidity and markets offered. Matchbook does have the trump card, however, of being the only exchange to support AUD accounts and online in-play wagering. It is also more beginner-friendly, with $0.01 minimum wagers. Serious punters will appreciate Matchbook as an opportunity for arbitrage betting and as an additional source for odds shopping on major football events. Those who primarily wager on football should definitely check Matchbook out, while punters on the AFL & NRL should look elsewhere.
