Unibet – Race Comments:

Race 6:
TOO CLOSE THE SUN (2) Bold effort to win three runs back at Warrnambool and generally strong second up. Should muster plenty of early speed. Take beating. ROYAL COMMAND (12) Having second run back from a break. Rocketed home into 2nd last run at the track and suited by the weight drop. Will go well. DOUBLE DIGIT (5) Landed the spoils when winning last start at the track and goes down in weight. Winning chance in what appears a suitable race. TELLEM WE’RE COMIN (1) Should bounce back from the last run when 7th at Northam and prefers to settle towards the rear. Could pose a threat and looks promising.

Race 7:
SNICKERDOODLEDANDY (2) Third up from a spell. Got the upper hand late when winning last start around here. Looks the one to beat. MAGICAL DREAM (4) Winner two runs back here. Should get going late. Hard to hold out. KISSONALLFORCHEEKS (3) Third up from a break. Was first to greet the judge when winning two runs back at the track and has a positive alley. Big danger. WATCH ME DANCE (1) Having third run back from a spell. Gave a strong sight when 3rd two runs back around here. Could work into the placings.

Race 8:
INDIAN PACIFIC (9) Won narrowly last run here and should come to hand quickly. Has the ability to take this out. CELEBRITY QUEEN (14) Third up from a spell. Got the upper hand late when winning two runs back at Belmont but up against stronger competition today. Suited. STAGEMAN (6) Fought on gamely when winning three runs back at Belmont. Capable of getting into the money. FLIRTINI (5) First up specialist with 2 wins from 4 starts. Kept finding the line when 2nd three runs back at the track but back to a shorter trip today. Success in a barrier trial at Lark Hill on Nov 2nd. Won’t be far away

Race 9:
REBEL KNIGHT (3) Backing up quickly. Competitive effort when 3rd last run at this track and will benefit with the weight drop. Better claims. EM TEE AYE (9) Racing for the second time this week. Displayed potential when winning two runs back at the track. Tracking very well this preparation. Can give this a shake. NAUGHTY BY NATURE (10) Came on strongly to finish 3rd last start at this venue and finishes off strongly. One of the major hopes. PHONEME (6) Got the upper hand late when winning last start at Northam and always seems to find the line well. Wouldn’t leave out of multiples.

Sportsbet – Race Comments and Selections:

Race 6:
The Perth Cup-bound TOO CLOSE THE SUN looks to have these covered. Enjoyed a successful Victorian campaign before returning and almost causing a boilover first up in the Asian Beau. Inspirational Girl and Red Can Man are two of the main Railway fancies, so formlines don’t get much better. Confidently ridden, Too Close The Sun should work forward and be too powerful over the 1800m. In a race lacking depth, don’t be surprised to see TELLEM WE’RE COMIN impact. His Northerly Stakes effort two back was good. Cerise-and-white pair MYSTERY MISS and ROYAL COMMAND can challenge for top-four finishes. FRIAR FOX has been freshened since regaining peak form in Kalgoorlie.
Selections: 2. Too Close The Sun (Best of the Day), 1. Tellem We’re Comin, 9. Mystery Miss, 12. Royal Command

Race 7:
Expecting SNICKERDOODLEDANDY to win again. While she was well suited in the Burgess Queen, she still ran the fastest last 400m and 200m to get the job done. This looks another low-pressure race, so with a clean getaway from a low draw, Snickerdoodledandy stalks the leading division and outsprints them again. Really wanted to make a strong case for MAGICAL DREAM, but from this high draw she’ll be spotting the on-top selection a decent head start. KISSONALLFORCHEEKS should follow up her Burgess Queen placing with another bold showing. WATCH ME DANCE endured a tough run last start but there should be no excuses from this sweet draw.
Selections: 2. Snickerdoodledandy (top tip), 4. Magical Dream, 3. Kissonallforcheeks, 1. Watch Me Dance

Race 8:
There’s not a lot between them, but confident STAGEMAN has the jets to get over the top of INDIAN PACIFIC late. Stageman just missed in the Crawford Stakes two back and after bungling the start in the Prince of Wales still managed to launch and finish only 1.1L behind VALOUR ROAD. If he can jump well and land midfield, Stageman should be close enough to pounce. Indian Pacific refused to be beaten in the Crawford and has been kept fresh since. Makes his own luck on top of the speed and it’ll take a good horse to get past him. Established top-liners ROCK MAGIC, Valour Road and FLIRTINI have to be considered major players.
Selections: 6. Stageman (top tip), 9. Indian Pacific, 3. Rock Magic, 2. Valour Road

Race 9:
Reckon this is the race for REBEL KNIGHT. Brave in defeat two back when three wide/no cover the entire, he then did a big job to box on into third under 61kg, having breezed outside a searing tempo over 1400m last Saturday. Drops 4.5kg with Chloe Azzopardi’s claim and gets a nice map. NAUGHTY BY NATURE was arguably a good thing beaten last week, copping interference at a vital stage on the turn. Going to be some effort to win from this draw in this full field, but she’s ready. PHONEME impressed in his fresh Northam win, as did ACONITE on Melbourne Cup day. Look out for EM TEE AYE to rebound with more positive tactics after last week’s Fairetha disappointment.
Selections: 3. Rebel Knight (top tip), 10. Naughty By Nature, 6. Phoneme, 1. Aconite

bet365 – Suggested Play:

Race 6: Too Close The Sun, trifecta: 2/1,3,5,12/1,3,5,12

Race 8: Stageman, trifecta: 6/2,5,9,14/2,5,9,14

Unibet – Race Comments:

Race 9:
HARD EMPIRE (4) Having second run back from a spell. Winner last start at this venue. Should get a lovely cart into it from just behind the pace. Must be considered. SPURCRAFT (5) Really dug deep when winning two runs back at Eagle Farm and has a positive draw. Expecting to settle just off the pace. In the mix. SANDBAR (7) Did well when 2nd two runs back at Rosehill and has plenty of early speed. Chance in this field so include in exotics. NICCANOVA (1) Fell back to finish 16th last time at Randwick and winless this campaign from 8 runs. Looks a good chance of finishing in the money.

Sportsbet – Race Comments and Selections:

Race 9:
The summer carnival officially starts next week however this cracking Listed race suggests it begins right here! Master Jamie rolls forward & can lead, Deep Image slides across & there’s a few others although on paper tempo nothing breakneck. Many of the better chances have drawn poorly which makes this an absolute raffle. One of those is SCALLOPINI who will definitely give away a start, he can reel off some very impressive sectionals though & his first up record is very good. SPURCRAFT could be the one to get the right run & is a better horse now ridden off pace. KRONE & PROFIT trialled well.
Selections: 3. Scallopini (top tip), 5. Spurcraft, 1. Niccanova, 8. Krone

Unibet – Race Comments:

Race 6:
PERFECT RADIANCE (9) Got the cash when winning two runs back at this course and third up today. Expecting to settle just off the pace. Ready to win. REAL PEACE (1) Was all too good winning two runs back at Hawkesbury. Should enjoy a cosy run off the pace. Been in the money 3 from 4 attempts this campaign. Genuine winning chance. ELLSBERG (2) Won two runs back at Warwick Farm but bit of extra work to do with more weight today. Worth strong consideration. OBVIOUS STEP (10) Slipped back to finish 5th last run at Rosehill and up against stronger competition today. Can go through the gears. Could run into the money.

Race 7:
TRUMBULL (1) Brave effort to win last time at Randwick and second up from a spell. Expecting to settle just off the pace. Well placed and has solid claims. RANIER (3) Charged home into 3rd two runs back at Rosehill and expected to be flashing home. No shock to see a win. FIESTA (8) Was first to greet the judge when winning last time at Flemington. Possesses good closing speed. Could go well. CUBA (10) Scored a victory last time at Randwick. Very strong each way claims.

bet365 – Suggested Play:

Race 6: Perfect Radiance, saving on Real Peace
Race 7: Trumbull

Sportsbet – Race Comments and Selections:

Race 6:
Speed set by 2 and 9, with 6 trailing close on the fence. PERFECT RADIANCE has raced on dry only twice and won them both and they happened to be here at Newcastle. Didn’t see all the favours she wanted last start but that was after she missed the start slightly. A smart start and crossing on the pace can set her up to win this time. The mile should be fine I think. KUKERACHA is set up to appreciate the 1600m as well, although he will be giving a start in the run. ELLSBERG could lead and kick? REAL PEACE through the $1M Bondi – is it the ‘right’ form? Very possibly.
Selections: 9. Perfect Radiance (top tip), 4. Kukeracha, 2. Ellsberg, 1. Real Peace

Race 7:
15 + 4 emergencies in this million dollar feature. Last year Savatiano beat TACTICAL ADVANTAGE and both were returning from Cup week runs at Flemington. That bodes well for ASIAGO who found the line strongly in the G1 Empire Rose and just needs a few things to pan out for her in the running here. FIESTA (who by the way ran 4th in this last year) has been well steered to win two in a row in Melbourne. Has to keep it simple from that wide draw today as well. Just hopes there is enough tempo on here (and there should be). TRUMBULL a dashing finisher on his day and he showed that most recently. CHIEF IRONSIDE not the worst at (I presume) a price.
Selections: 15. Asiago (value bet), 8. Fiesta, 1. Trumbull, 7. Chief Ironside

Unibet – Fletch, Junior & Jack:

Unibet – Race Comments:

Race 1:
BRAZEN BOY (4) Brazen Beau 2yo having first start for trainer Phillip Stokes. One of the leading players. FORBES (5) First run back from break of over 9 years. Game effort to win two runs back at Atherton and coming to a new trainer. Likely to get a nice run behind the speed. Worth an investment. ANAMOE (3) Bold effort when 5th last time at Caulfield and fitter for debut run. Appears well in this. THE ART OF FLYING (1) Hit the line well when 2nd last run at Moonee Valley and having second career run. Chance in this field so include in exotics

Race 2:
LA MEXICANA (1) Brave effort to win last run at Moonee Valley. Looks suited and should just win this. HIGHLY DISCREET (2) Ran on into 5th last start at Flemington and looks well graded. Well placed and has solid claims. STAR OF UMA (3) Landed the spoils when winning last start at Morphettville and third up today. Very tidy this campaign winning 2 from as many attempts. Keep in mind. HINDAAM (4) Nice effort when winning last start at Bendigo and suited by the weight drop. Strong form this campaign winning 2 from 3 attempts. Deserves consideration.

Race 3:
KEMALPASA (2) Got the cash when winning last run at Flemington. Should muster plenty of early speed. Been in the money 3 from 4 attempts this campaign. Deserves a win. BLAZEJOWSKI (5) Fought on gamely when winning two runs back at Flemington and gets a nice run behind the speed. Deserves consideration. WILD VIXEN (7) Having third run back from a break. Game effort to win two runs back at Geelong and can find a nice position from the draw. Winning chance in this line up. ORDER OF COMMAND (3) Caught the eye when 2nd last start at Flemington. Winning hope.

Race 4:
EXPRESS PASS (9) Let up. Got the prize when winning two runs back at Caulfield and goes down in weight. Deserves consideration. HUMMA HUMMA (3) Sent around at $14 and ended up 1.9l from the winner at Caulfield last run on a soft track. Expected to be flashing home. Well placed and has solid claims. SHAMINO (7) Made considerable ground when 2nd three runs back at Morphettville and suited at this trip historically. Can go through the gears. No surprise to see a forward showing and one of the main hopes in this race. TAVISAN (4) Couldn’t keep the pace going when 3rd three runs back at Moonee Valley but fresh after a break. Will be pushing for a forward position early. Among the major players.

Race 5:
KENYA (6) Put a gap on the rest when winning last start at Mornington and has a great burst of speed late. Making headway every start and rates strongly. BUFFALO RIVER (1) Couldn’t keep the pace going when 2nd two runs back at Caulfield and won’t be far away during the run. Very competitive this campaign. Strong win bet. JUNIPAL (3) Pulled away to win two runs back at Caulfield but bit of extra work to do with more weight today. Going well this preparation. Can win this. ICONOCLASM (2) Got the upper hand late when winning last start at Moonee Valley and can save some energy from the barrier. Drawn to sit just in behind the speed. Exotics hope in this event.

Race 6:
AYSAR (1) Made considerable ground when 2nd last start at Flemington and will appreciate a good alley. Been in the money 3 from 4 attempts this campaign. Good form for this class and absolutely good enough for this race. SWEET REPLY (8) Kept finding the line when 2nd two runs back at Randwick and going well this preparation. Expecting to settle just off the pace. Could prove hard to beat. HORRIFYING (3) Came on strongly to finish 3rd last time at Flemington but facing a stronger class. Can make a claim in this race and is a strong each way hope. ALLIBOR (4) Did well to run into 2nd two runs back at Bendigo and very competitive this preparation. Prefers to settle towards the rear. Multiples chance.

Race 7:
SIN TO WIN (5) Solid win last run at Flemington and gets a favourable alley. Should be swooping on the field late. Winnable race. CARIF (4) When $10 finished 1.6l from the winner at Flemington last time on a good surface. Likely to get a nice run behind the speed. Struggling this campaign with no placings from 6 starts. Has genuine claims in this race. MIAMI BOUND (3) Bold effort to win two runs back at Moonee Valley but hoping that the added weight won’t hurt. Always seems to find the line well. Will be in the finish. ETAH JAMES (2) Lost ground in the run home when 17th last time at Flemington and goes up in weight. Shows good finishing speed. Among better hopes.

Race 8:
AVILIUS (1) Produced an eye catching run when 2nd three runs back at Randwick and has been racing in stronger company. Displays good closing speed. Big chance. SOUND (4) Rattled home nicely into 2nd last time at Flemington but facing a stronger grade today. Racing consistently this preparation. Among the major players. FUTURE SCORE (5) Good win two runs back at Cranbourne but racing in stronger company today. Shows good finishing speed. Open to improvement and is a strong chance again. LORD BELVEDERE (6) Back from a freshen up. Really dug deep when winning two runs back at Flemington and will try to take advantage of the gate. Open to improvement and has a show in this field.

Race 9:
HOMESMAN (1) Handy enough when winning two runs back at Moonee Valley and third up today. Should muster plenty of early speed. Goes very close. ALL TOO HUIYING (4) Strong form third up winning 3 from 5 runs. Put a gap on the rest when winning last run at Sale and displays good tactical speed. Ultra competitive this campaign with 2 wins from as many runs. Right in this. GOLD FIELDS (5) Rattled home nicely into 2nd last start at Flemington. Massive hope. POWER SCHEME (12) Got the upper hand late when winning last start at Flemington and backing up quickly. Might take a while to wind up but should be hitting top gear in the straight. Races well in these conditions so do not discard.

Race 10:
MISSILE MANTRA (4) Rattled home nicely into 3rd three runs back at Flemington and drops back to a suitable class. Always seems to find the line well. Include in chances. TRICKY GAL (7) Hit the line well when 2nd last start at Rosehill and backs up quickly today. Expecting to settle just off the pace. Will give a big sight. GAME OF THORNS (15) Rocketed home into 3rd last time at Flemington but up against stronger competition today. Might take a while to wind up but should be hitting top gear in the straight. Maybe for the trifectas and a marginal hope. AKARI (2) Went out at $5.5 and finished 5th last time at Flemington but will appreciate a good gate. Should race just behind the speed. Capable of a place and a good chance.

Sportsbet – Race Comments and Selections:

Race 1:
NOTE: Rail is true. It was out 10m here on September 9 and the inside lanes were avoided from early on. There’ll be up to 10 newbies in the first. BRAZEN BOY was the talk of the town after winning a trial in Adelaide by 14 lengths. FORBES was very slow out in a Mornington heat yet rounded them up like the good horse he is bred to be. ANAMOE was held up and zoomed late on debut. MARINE ONE looked a bit lost up the straight on debut? Trials prior were very good. THE ART OF FLYING was beaten by the subsequent $1 million Golden Gift winner at MV.
Selections: 4. Brazen Boy (top tip), 5. Forbes, 3. Anamoe, 1. The Art Of Flying

Race 2:
Not sure speedmap here as all of them have shown they can sit handy so? LA MEXICANA beat home HIGHLY DISCREET in Crockett Stks then Highly Discreet ran on hard at Flemington behind two smart fillies. They both try 1400m for the first time. STAR OF UMA won well in Adelaide and there was definite merit on the clock in that win, third horse Sparkup had form around Deep Speed who ran very well Flemington last week in a strong race. HINDAAM looked good ridden colder last time. Many of the others come through that ”messy” Desirable Stks Flemington Cup Day, race was won in slow time.
Selections: 1. La Mexicana (top tip), 2. Highly Discreet, 3. Star Of Uma, 4. Hindaam

Race 3:
KEMALPASA beat ORDER OF COMMAND in the Linlithgow in what was a real sprint home. Both NEIGHBOURHOOD and BLAZEJOWSKI ran well behind them in race where not much changed. Order of Command has the best of the relative weights from that clash into a WFA race here. WILD VIXEN has come back well. She beat Too Good Too Hard fresh and that mare then ran very well in the Begonia Stakes on Derby Day behind Fiesta. Wild Vixen then was only run over late in the HKJC Stakes on Cup Day. STREETS OF AVALON has had plenty against him this prep: improver?
Selections: 7. Wild Vixen (top tip), 5. Blazejowski, 2. Kemalpasa, 3. Order Of Command

Race 4:
SPEED: 4 can lead 8 with 9 handy? CORUSCATE had task in sprint home at Flemington but drops to 1000m with 62kg? HUMMA HUMMA beat him home in Bel Esprit Stks in April and has massive weight advantage today, doubt back to 1000m hurts her! SHAMINO ran by PROPHETS THUMB when they clashed in Adelaide in September. Shamino then ran super in fast Caulfield Sprint before the last-start flop but that was 1200m. HUMAN NATURE won 0-84 well last time, he ran a good second to Alfa Oro fresh, that horse crossed line with Shamino in that Caulfield Sprint. TAVISAN is proven fresh, pattern? EXPRESS PASS a hope too.
Selections: 7. Shamino (top tip), 10. Human Nature, 3. Humma Humma, 4. Tavisan

Race 5:
1 and 6 both like to lead. BUFFALO RIVER set a strong speed in the Group 1 Cantala, a race dominated by swoopers. He ran a great race in the Toorak Handicap prior, beating home JUNIPAL, who didn’t have everything go to script in fairness. Junipal has a 2.5kg swing now. ICONOCLASM held off GALAXY RAIDER last time, then Galaxy Raider went to Flemington and ran OK at 1800m. KENYA ran along fresh at Mornington and kept running with his 62kg. Terrific win.
Selections: 3. Junipal (top tip), 6. Kenya, 1. Buffalo River, 5. Galaxy Raider

Race 6:
SPEED: 2, 6, 7 from 1? AYSAR is the obvious coming off a Group 1 Caulfield Guineas second before looking home in the Carbine Club, where stablemate Crosshaven was too strong. ALLIBOR at $12 versus Aysar $1.75 (Wednesday morning prices) might be worth a play? He stayed at 1400m one run too long last week but loved his late work behind two smart three-year-olds and the race rated highly. SWEET REPLY was one of many hard-luck stories in that Desirable Stakes. Doubt 1600m any issue with her. VALANETTI is on the up. HORRIFYING has a case, as does CAPTAIN CANUCK if there’s any leader bias.
Selections: 4. Allibor (top tip), 1. Aysar, 8. Sweet Reply, 3. Horrifying

Race 7:
MIAMI BOUND beat ETAH JAMES and CARIF clearly in the MV Cup then wasn’t disgraced in a Melbourne Cup. Etah James worked up near a strong speed in the Cup and also was not disgraced. She has a weight advantage. SIN TO WIN broke a long run of outs easily beating NAVAL WARFARE at Flemington. He has been to 3200m once and won the 2018 Andrew Ramsden. SWEET THOMAS produced the race-fastest last 200m behind Sin To Win and wants the 3200m here. CARIF has a case.
Selections: 3. Miami Bound (top tip), 5. Sin To Win, 2. Etah James, 6. Sweet Thomas

Race 8:
SPEED: 2 may lead 3, 4, 7. AVILIUS was unlucky at a vital stage in a Caulfield Cup before struggling in a Melbourne Cup. Back in class/trip here looks the key(s). BRIMHAM ROCKS, FUTURE SCORE and SOUND all ran well in the Hotham behind Ashrun, who beat Avilius home in the Melbourne Cup. That Brimham Rocks form ties in ATTORNEY. PRINCESS JENNI beat Pondus in a Bendigo Cup at her first go over 2400m.
Selections: 1. Avilius (top tip), 8. Princess Jenni, 5. Future Score, 4. Sound

Race 9:
Speed looks genuine with 8, 10 plus 4, 1, 7. GOLD FIELDS was first home from those who contested the Cup Day Plate at Flemington and he attacked the line there! SO SI BON was solid. HOMESMAN held on well with big weight and PACODALI was a forgive run (wide) and was jumping in trip second up. He won this last year and looks a stupid price $41 early! WEST WIND comes off a high-rating win at MV with 60kg beating Affair To Remember, who then won the Matriarch Stakes. She has only been beaten once on dry ground.
Selections: 10. West Wind (top tip), 5. Gold Fields, 3. Pacodali, 1. Homesman

Race 10:
SPEED: 3, 9 from 13 with 2, 1, 6 off those? MISSILE MANTRA should have finished closer in G1 Empire Rose on Derby Day but draws out and has not won for ages. TRICKY GAL and AKARI finished near each other in Sydney then Tricky Gal rushed home in a G2 Hot Danish last week. Akari raced wide in Inglis Bracelet and held on very well. STROME worked early on tough day to lead that same race and was good also. GAME OF THORNS was another who ran well there. FASCINO (gap between runs?) and MY PENDANT, MRS BECKHAM head a stack of other hopes.
Selections: 4. Missile Mantra (top tip), 2. Akari, 15. Game Of Thorns, 7. Tricky Gal
