At the time of writing the biggest Draftstars contest for this round is a $75,000 competition for Western Bulldogs vs. Geelong. Entry costs $15 and the top 25% of participants will receive a payout.

Gold Coast vs. North Melbourne

Gold Coast have won three of their last four and their most recent win was by 67 points over Hawthorn. North Melbourne, meanwhile, have lost nine consecutive games. The scales of those defeats have been huge. The average losing margin was 60.4 and the median was 60. Eight of those defeats were by margins of 47 or greater. The Kangaroos also bring an 8-game losing streak away from home into this clash and they have failed to cover the line in their last three away games against the Suns. I would back Gold Coast in the head-to-head at 1.08 (Picklebet). Those looking for more risk should consider the Gold Coast 40+ at 1.72 (Unibet).

Melbourne vs. Sydney

Melbourne suffered a 38-point defeat last week and Sydney have covered the line in their last five meetings against Melbourne. The Swans have also covered the line in the last four meetings against the Dees when installed as the underdog. Since 2018 Sydney have gone 6-1 at the line at the MCG. I would back Sydney +24.5 at 1.82 (BlueBet).
